Had the same problem when i got mine... No matter how i tried to set it with a shim it was reading all over the place.. I was about to return it for a refund and hit the buttons so much my girlfriend was mad at me lol and finally boom! it calibrated just how it should work... It's been fine...

I contacted lake country because my purple foamed wool pads delaminated from the velcro. David helped me get new pads to replace the faulty ones and I'm happy with the customer service :)

What? We could buy opti-coat 2.0 20ml for 79.99 and now gloss-coat 2 year protection 10ml = 59.99 ... Will never buy this cause that's encouraging a company to downgrade his product because he think it's "to good to be accessible for the public"... So will be looking for other coatings as this...
