Review: 3D Paint Coating and 3D One Cutting Compound and Finishing Polish

As you can see from the date stamps, I helped Tunch/3D test their version of a ceramic coating for many years. Tunch was extremely adamant about only introducing a coating to the market if it could perform as well or better than the what was already in place. No better life experience than to...

The World is About to Change

Sorry, no pics to share. Streaking is usually from not applying enough product and not leveling it properly. It can surely be tricky, but can be eliminated with technique. Plus, you can refine it with sanding or polishing once it’s torally cured. Before this point, just leave it alone and don’t...

The World is About to Change

CCR certainly is a revolutionary product. So far I’ve used it to darken paint burns on CC, camouflage chipping on front ends of vehicles, bug etching on single stage paint and on areas of thin paint. It’s super easy to use and adds a great glossy finish. I’ve also layered it (4 layers) and...

    3D/HD Speed vs. Mckee's 37 360....

Please know that I have no vested interest in this product/company.... I don’t know how it could get any easier. We use it in direct sunlight on 90+ degree days and it performs and removes effortlessly. We also leave it on overnight and over the weekend and comes off just as easy. If you want...

    Makes total sense to me!

    HD speed vs Megs D166

I'm referring to every category that this product can perform in and do so at top tier levels. But, if you had to rank the category of longevity, I'd rank it last in order of importance. How long does an AIO really need to last? A couple months? Probably for most people and Speed does it easily...

    HD speed vs Megs D166

HD Speed has been dominating this segment for well over the last 5 years. Glad to see Megs finally bringing a product like this to market. There's been many products that have tried to compete (even having people posting favorable reviews such as this), but none really have had the staying power...

    HD Speed now costs more

Prices go up, not down typically. Don't worry about how much a product costs. Worry about how much it makes you.

How to clean inside door and jambs

No need for me to re-read as I got your point the 1st time around. Like I said I've never heard anyone use distilled water on door jambs. Seems like complete overkill, but if you think it makes a difference or prevents some phenomenon from occurring then by all means more power to you. Using a...

How to clean inside door and jambs

Not if you're careful and can control your blast zone with the right fan and angle of your spray.

How to clean inside door and jambs

Distilled water for door jambs huh? That's a 1st reading this. It kinda depends on the door jamb and how dirty it is? Sometimes pressure is a must have, but agitation solves most dirty jobs along with proper dwell time of the cleaner.

Is IPA wipe down necessary after yellow/white products?

Overall, I'd have to say no wipedown is needed unless there's real world documentation that the protectant you're using requires one. Otherwise, see which pad gives you the best final finish and do an isolated test spot wipedown to see if there's any filling occurring. Keep your pad clean and...
