    what do you smokers do?

i was gonna do a multi quote for this reply but it seems like everyone is in a general consensus. i would never smoke in a customers car, period. i dont have a shop so having a car when the customer is not around isnt gonna happen. i didnt really think about the smell lingering on clothes...

i think im getting the hang of it

got my LC yellow pad and megs UC today, worked a hell of a lot better than the swirlx and coarse green pad. i think i would use that as a second step if the UC didnt romove the swirls. anyway, on to the pics. i just did my roof and trunk and spoiler. this is with the swirl finder light...

    Tire Cleaner suggestions

im new to all of the options out there, ive always used mothers, but i just used this(as opposed to turtle wax ice) and i love it. i hate the glossy look, and the mothers does not get shiny. rather just a "clean" look. on a side note, i never had any browning issues with ice as well as the mothers.

    Need some help here mike

mike, the cars are an 06 sebring and an 04 grand am. both are metallic silver. according to your videos, im supposed to try the least agressive micro-abrasive compound first. i wasnt aware that swirlx had less "cut" than scratchx. figured it wouldve been the other way. anyways, since this isnt...

    Need some help here mike

got pics of the pad that seperated. as you can clearly see, it looks like the glue melted and came off. it also looks like it shrunk. is there anything i can do, or am i just stuck buying another one. i dont think this is supposed to happen. could it also be possible that the pad combined with...

    Need some help here mike

ok thanks for the info about the light. i guess ill have to try a more aggressive compound using the same technique and see if that works. EDIT: i should also point out that my car is a metallic silver, so seeing swirls is hard enough, with a bright light is making it harder. id imagine with...

    Need some help here mike

i have no clue what im doing wrong with the megs swirl x. ive tried using it 3 times now, with each time not removing all the swirls. im using a PC 7424xp with a LC ccs coarse green pad. im doing exactly what you are doing in the video. put the x on the pad and with the buffer on 3 quickly...

removing 3 year old stickers from car

i wouldnt think so. its just like a plastic badge, instead its a sticker. the paint arounf it may be a little faded by comparison, but a clay, polish and wax will take care of that
