Blackfire Crystal Seal Paint Sealant Review

I found the durability of Blackfire Crystal Seal to be weak also. ZCS, OS and UPGP are all more durable. The Blackfire Total Polish & Seal AIO also has poor durability. Will shorten the life of Crystal Seal and BFWD when used as a topper over the TPS.

Smooth Exterior Plastic Trim is problematic

Use whatever wax or sealant you used on the paint to put on the smooth plastic. Save the PERL for tires and textured plastic.

P21S Polishing Soap - mini review

Love the P21S polishing soap. Was that trim bare metal or coated with a clear?

REMOVAL of Glass Scratches with CarPro and a Griots DA

Are there any distortions from the glass being wavy where you did the heavier correction on the deep scratch?

Preview of this weekend's project: 2011 MKS Ecoboost

I like your idea of driving the car up onto some blocks of wood to get the tires off the ground. There's always that little section where the tire meets the ground that doesn't get cleaned as well as the rest of the tire. I hate rolling the car back forth, unless i have to because of the brake...

    Trim restoration

Carpro DLUX or the Gtechniq C4. You'll probably need 2 bottles to do all that trim. It took me 1 & 2/3 30ml bottles of C4 to do the trim on a mid 2000 year Ford Explorer and Jeep Liberty Renegade. The FJ has those big panels, not just edge trim. The DLUX seems to spread a bit further than C4...

    Review: CarPro PERL

Is anyone using Reload to maintain PERL or DLUX on trim? Should work right? Maybe the faded look would stay away longer if you tried to 'lock in' the fresh look with Reload.

    Question about collinite 845

I had the same type of thing happened when I tried to put Zaino Z-2/Z-5 on top of Prima Amigo. This was way back when Amigo just came out. The first time the car got wet I had white spots everywhere that I couldn't remove with shampoo or QD. It looked like dried wax around the edges...

SON1C Synopsis 14 - Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover -> Stained Trim? Look no further

Try using 1Z einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner on exterior plastic trim. If you use it with a Magic Eraser you can easily remove the white chalky dead plastic. Removes embeded wax on trim also.

    OPT Poliseal seperation... Won't remix

I have had quart size bottles of OPT Hyper compound and Polish II sepreate on me that would not blend back together no matter how much shaking I did.

GG glass pads and DG755 NuGlass

Those compressed rayon disks for glass polishing are dangerous. They will easily mar the glass if not used correctly. Those holograms aren't very easy to remove. Polishing scratches out of glass sucks and once you start trying you'll never be happy with the results. The DG Nu-Glass is very...

    Klasse vs #476s?

Claybar the car first. Klasse AIO to deep clean the paint (no correction ability except the lightest marring). Then apply the Klasse Super Glaze twice to make sure you covered everything. Then a coat of the 476s. If you do that 2x a year, say spring and fall, for the next 10-15 years you will...

Getting racked over the coals on AG shipping costs

Wow. Hadn't checked the forum for a few days. I guess I touched a raw nerve there. I knew about that AGO code too, just seem to have a mental block with that one for some reason. I usually wait until there is a big holiday promotion going and make a $200-300 order, but that wasn't an option...

Getting racked over the coals on AG shipping costs

Of course I knew what the shipping was before ordering. I needed the C4 and AG is the only option besides Pakshak (which would be worse coming from Hawaii) so I had to do it. That doesn't mean I can't be upset about excessive shipping costs. That was the cheapest shipping option to choose from...
