My wife has the D3000, and I bought my assistant the Canon. Both are great cameras for shooting pictures. I personally prefer the Nikon system overall for pictures. Between the two you mentioned, I would get the Canon just because it shoots video as well. You may not think you want it now...
Just be careful with the Elastrofoam one. I "primed" it by claying the glass on my cars. The first body panel I used it on needed a polish afterwards because of some slight micromarring. It's gotten better since, but I still think clay is much more gentle.
I would do BL, Pete's, wait at least overnight, then V7. I've tried it the other way with V7 before wax and I think the V7 looks best as a last layer. YMMV.
I love Souveran too... for about two days. After that, there is so much dust on the car that I can't stand it. Fuzion looks better for longer for me. It is also not much of a dust magnet like Souveran is.
But man, for that first day or two...
Nice writeup and nice job. Exo looks like a winner, but maybe a bit rich for my blood. They should make a smaller size to get more people to bite on it.
$8.99 a towel is a good deal to you? I have the towels pictured and they're great. If you got the VIP deal recently, then the cost per towel was less than $3 for high quality MFs.
Careful to judge something without ever using it. I'm sure your Metropolitan towels are probably awesome, but $9...
