I'm a fan of the Wurth Nitrile gloves. Reasonably thick, durable and the chemical resistance is top notch. Also gives you excellent grip on microfibers for when your cleaning glass in awkward positions.

Mercedes-Benz dealership I work at has the exact same car wash. We literally slap the cars clean. I've also made the mistake of when we are slow I'll take extra time on the cars and now we have some very demanding customers for courtesy washes

So is V2 the reformulation of the "old" new formula everyone was having problems with?

Article is 10 years old so it could be when they were initially starting out or maybe there was some reformultions in the products used or possibly a typo?

I would argue impossible. Especially if you own a truck, no one respects your vehicle and if I end up having to park in a full lot I almost always find a new scratch.

I usually bring a gallon of water and a liter of some o' dat gatorade when I have to detail.

For me personally it would be BlackFire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection is a must. Really user friendly and is pretty darn durable.

I like to use aggressive clay bars on the glass. Makes cleaning up after a breeze.

A golf shirt and usually some dickies, since that is my general everyday attire.

Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done? I think its more the mental fortitude, me and a friend did some side detailing over the summer and here in Phoenix it was hell. But we both knew we weren't going to be done with a car until it was proper and we kept on pushing through...
