Go with a 15+mini as both are somewhat redundant in their throw and cutting ability. I've got both but ended up purchasing a FLEX for heavier correction. I use the FLEX to compound, Duetto to polish/finish, and Mini for tighter areas. Also have a PC from ages ago to do beater work.
I've had some left-over adhesive from taping etc. and used TAR-X. It says it's a tar/adhesive remover. Sprayed on and let it soak, then agitated with MF sponge, and rinsed with water. Worked like a charm. Whether or not a detail spray, bug cleaner, bug sponge would work equally as well I don't...
FG400 finishes pretty nice. I do get some dusting but nothing compared to PG1000. Paired with a Rupes MF pad or blue coarse pad it'll finish pretty close to LSP ready. I do this as a hobby so I always finish with SF4500 or Rupes Diamond to get that extra pop. The Rupes Zephir and Quarz are...
LC has always been at the forefront of pad tech and quality, with that being said the REAL question is...
How do these perform next to the RUPES foam pads? Is the dual density material cost savings (less foam material) or will it perform/outperform the RUPES pads?
If they can perform on par...
Recently coated my daily driver (silver) with CQUK and the other (black) with PBL Coating. Both are TOP NOTCH and give you that glassy/mirror shine. CQUK recommends using ERASER before coating and PBL recommends PBL Surface Cleansing Polish.
Do your research on coatings and watch videos of the...
Even PG1000 with the duetto/mf pad wouldn't get rid of the swirls/scratches in my brand new Prius. Had to bust out FG400 to get the job done. As people have said always do a test spot with the least aggressive combo. Start with SF4000 and go from there.
Figure out your budget.
If it's correction power you want then 3401/21ES. If you want a good all around performer on a budget then GG/7424XP...or upgrade to a Duetto which has the same compact body of the GG/7424XP but smoother operation. Or a 3401/or21es/or15es & mini combo would get you into...
Pre-soak to get the heavy soils loose. If you're using a HE washer the Wolfgang's stuff is pretty darn good. I've only used Pinnacle and Wolfgang but the towels came out much better with the Wolfgang.
