I have a lot of swirl marks and holograms in direct sunlight showing on my dark metallic blue paint. I tried using a DA with various pads and compounds/polishes, but it doesn't seem to make any improvement...
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried Lake Country white, orange, and black...
I’ve never used a machine before, always done everything by hand. It’s just the door I’m looking to do, so I figured it was doable by hand… But when I look at all of the polishes on Autogeek, they all have instructions for orbital/DA machines only… Thanks for the reply!
I have a Mazda CX-9, dark blue, and it’s mainly on the drivers door that is the problem area. Is there a fine polish I could use by hand to correct? Any recs for a product and proper technique? Thanks!
