I have polished aluminum in the past with wet sanding and there wasn't really any write ups about how to do it. Ill try my hardest to make a detailed walk through with how and what to use to make them shine.
When I was younger, I polished a set of wheels from my mk4 Gti. I didn't remove the...
I think the hot water helps immensely. I pre treat the area, then just douse the area In hot water. The pro heat will take water from cold to extremely hot. It gets to be a pain to run back and forth to the sink and wait for hot water then go back. Then if you let it sit, it cools down fast!
I can assure you my great machine with the pro heat gets the water very hot. Like the carpet steaming hot.
I have burnt my hand to many times to count.
I had the ONR but honestly it streaked more than I wanted. I would have to go back and use a quick detailer mixture and a new rag to wipe them off.
I swapped to BlackFires No Rinse and don't think I'll ever look back.
It's the same concept, but I think it streaks less and has better...
I'm absolutely in love with this product. I use it for tires, trim and Engine plastics. I have yet to use it on leather I think I'll stick to a designated cleaner/conditioner for that.
But this is a 1-1 mixture on the trim. It went on so easy. And the customer said its just as nice as the day...
Nick told me once that you can clean a window with one towel. And now I see why. It yeilds perfect results 100% of the time.
Lightly mist a microfiber towel wipe down the window. Then before it dries, take a separate dry towel and wipe off the cleaning agent.
With the waffle weave glass cut...
I have the Gilmore 8ply hose. It's so durable. I got it from Home Depot.
It's strong but yet pliable enough to store easily. And it has a lifetime warranty.

I have read some reviews on doing pits in the window. It would take all day. It's best to just get the powder and mist water with it.
Don't use a DA. You would deff need a rotary if you wanna make any progress.
It would be worth my time, sweat, blood, and tears to buy a new window. You can...
I was going to get the SF4500 but I wanted a polish with a little more aggressive cut so I can take out very minor swirls/holograms with a MicroFiber Cutting Pad so I went with the SF4000. But I have used the Fg400 2 times and finished with the SF4000, it looks great!
If I want a polish with...
Well great news. I fixed the glass.
Nick called me and gave me the run down on the best product that I could use to fix this problem. He suggested CeriGlass by CarPros. And their glass polishing pads.
First I tried using the Pinnicale GlassWork and the CarPro Glass Pads. It made the...
