Any of these dressings last me exactly to the first rain, which is usually anywhere between 1-24 hrs after I wash my car.

Are you getting a month out of this stuff driving in the rain? If so, that's pretty impressive.

Also, I'm wondering what you do what that applicator when your done. Do you clean it or just leave it.??

I know a lot of people don't clean them, but I'm to OCD to use a "dirty" applicator again or have it sitting around. I switched to the Carrand Tire Brush and clean it out with solvent when I'm done so its 100% clean for next time. On trim, I just cut a square out of a grout sponge and throw it out each time.

Applicator is cleaned after all the tires are dressed. Rinsing it out immediately after you are done dressing the tires with water allows it to be cleaned effectively without chemicals.

Nice video there Roshan. Perl 1:1 is a lot of shine. Can it be used in a higher dilution on the tyres to get a more natural look?? Im Not a fan of the glossy looks.


Ive tried Perl on my trims at 1:3 dilution but it lasted till the first wash only. My trim is faded since last year, due to a service centre guy rubbing some compound on them. Havent been able to fix it at all.

PERL was the only dressing that could actually restore its look. Megs, mothers nothing else worked on those trims. And it worked well, till one week later when I snow foamed the car with Hyperwash. Drying the car left the trim back to the faded state.

I noticed @BobbyG's reply where he said Dlux for the faded trim. So Is that what I need? And how long does Dlux last?

Also I noticed Hyperdressing lasting on my tyres for a month, even with washing and all. How does PERL survive in the rains?

Your opinions will help determine whether I buy the PERL 500ml or not. As its pretty costly here almost 3 times the US price. But I really like the way it restores the trim albeit temporarily. Yet to try it on tyres.

I'm absolutely in love with this product. I use it for tires, trim and Engine plastics. I have yet to use it on leather I think I'll stick to a designated cleaner/conditioner for that.

But this is a 1-1 mixture on the trim. It went on so easy. And the customer said its just as nice as the day I left (3 weeks ago)

This is my engine bay. I cleaned it with Pin APC and my Mytee Steam cleaner. It's a 2011 VW Gti. So I was relativity clean already. But wow. It still looks great. This was a 5-1 mixture.

im using this for a year now , first one in my country to do it. Durability its impressive , especially on interiors although the smeel is not really nice. Best cheap tire dressing.

This is 2 weeks after aplication , 600 miles of city and the photo was taken after a 4 hour 300 mile road trip to the beach.

this is leather after 1 month application , no dilution although i would not use it as its too shiny for me.
