Rupes 21 dead after a year of heavy use.

After a few phone calls and messages my 21 is back up and running. One for the windings in the stator had failed and caused the matching to shutdown. I completely disassembled my 21(I dont recommend doing this unless you are confident in you wrenching skills), replaced the stator, did a deep...

Wheel cleaner for old wheels (behind the spokes)

Post a picture of them. I had some alloy wheels that were really nasty, after a good scrub and some ironX i used a metal polish and rubbed until my hands were sore. They came out great in the end. If the chunks look like stuck on rocks you may want to try a solvent like Goof Off, this will...

another pressure washer is dead, time for an upgrade.....

My goal this year was to save up and invest in an electric pressure washer in the $600-$900 range. having this washer fail again i have to grab something that will get me through the year so i can keep on track financially. So fo now it has to be a cheaper "disposable" washer.

another pressure washer is dead, time for an upgrade.....

Well.... after 2 years in business I have killed my second electric pressure washer, both were Greenworks from Lowes. The first one was replaced under warranty, but after the second failure it's time for a change. I've been looking at gas pressure washers, but i'm still reluctant due to the...

    Less popular Ceramic brand question/recommendation

First thing, coatings will not protect againt stone chip, so get clear bra regardless. Ive seen a few people use the Krytec, but no one shows finished results. I would go with Cquartz Finest and clear bra. They have a great reputation, and if you have any issues with the coating, you can have...

Rupes 21 dead after a year of heavy use.

I've owned my Rupes 21 for about a year, one day it just turned off while mid panel. I took the handle off and inspected the electronics, everything looked fine. Cleaned the brushes and motor contacts. Put it all back together and it started working again. After 30-45 minutes it shut down again...

    3D Pink car wash soap

I'm almost finished with my first gallon of Pink Soap, it's not bad for the price. I prefer Shampoo Plus or Optimum Car Wash for maintenance washes. and reset or hyper wash for pre detail washes.

Getting mold smell out of leather seats

I was a Jaguar/Land Rover tech for 10 years. I can say from personal experience, the 80's to mid 90's models have a strange funky smelling interior. My 90's Audi had the same funky smell.

    Review and How-To - NEW McKee's 37 Matte Finish Cleaner & Protectant

This product is awesome!!!!! I've used it as a detail spray on matte and satin wraps, waterless wash on dusty cars that have been sitting collecting dust. The finish comes out clean every time, even in the AZ heat.

Flex 3401VRG or the New Rupes???

I had both the Flex and Rupes. I sold the Flex after struggling to get good results. I personally prefer the high pad speed of the Rupes and less need to apply downward pressure. With the right pad and compound combo I can keep up with some rotary guys.

    Working With M105

I've wanted to try M101 for a while as well, but it's expensive compared to M100/M105. FC400/sf4000 is a great combo. don't over look PF2500, it was my go-to for a long time when doing one step polishes. It's can get out those "love marks" and finish out perfect on most paints.
