Thank you for the advice! Very nice Job on the Toyota Hilux by the way! That red really pops now!
I do plan on taping off the edges yes, especially since this year of toyota has soft paint. I plan on doing a test spot on the decklid to see the best approach for this particular setup.
I'm using...
Thank you for the input Mike. I'm using 3D products right now (cut/polish/speed), haven't found a really good sealant yet. I use Carpro Reload, but it doesn't seem to hold up well enough.
I'm looking forward to being able to bring this paint back to life! I gave the client a quote, so now I...
Hey Guys/Gals.
I have a client who has a 91' Toyota MR2. 37,000 Original Miles.
However, the red is pretty severely oxidized over the entire car. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm dealing with but just to get a little more input would be very helpful before giving a final price based on how the...
Mag/Aluminum Polish & Foam Pads.
I use left over buffing pads (cutting and polishing). Cut them up in various sizes from thumb size to palm size. Use mostly cutting pads on aluminum wheels.
Did these yesterday for a client.

It's some of the best on the market hands down.

This thing is clean. In really good condition, client wanted it cleaned up for their family before they use it for vacation this summer.
Nothing too crazy just a wash and wax w/ Griots Garage Brilliant Finish and.......wait for...
Right on man, glad you got it figured out! Those things just tend to happen.
Since it was evenly distributed she must've done a good job on the chair.lol
Hmm, it almost looks like as if there might've been some contaminates on the mitt possibly resulting in whatever it is embedded itself in the clear coat. If you polish a small area you should be able to tell.
But, because it transfers over the glass in the same motion as it is on the paint...
That was gonna be my first point of attack, utilizing a test spot to determine correct procedure.
Wanted to give the customer a couple quote options to work with based off how well it would be eliminated. I'll have to do a test spot first to determine that. I don't want to undercut myself...
Hey guys/gals,
I inspected a 22ft Four Whinns H210 today for a new client of mine. It has moderate oxidation on the upper portion of the black paint. It's black with a white top. Wish I had photos to share, but that was my mistake. I'm trying to figure out the most efficient way to go about...
