Hello Mike. I still can't understand why you don't use a wool cloth instead of a microfiber cloth if the more nap will give more cut... Wool has more nap than microfiber, right?

Wow Mike that's a great answer! I'll go with the wool then. The fact is that I'm not a Pro so I was thinking about foam backed wool pads... I guess the fact that they're softer should forgive a lot of mistakes! But do they cut with the same power? An example is the meguiars W4003

Tuff buff pad is actually a long fiber wool pad. Still can't understand why it gives good results on a DA PS. This great post shows also the surbuf pad on a DA. But can you tellme what would be the result with surbuf + rotary?
