I spray OC Pro for the majority of my jobs. It does use more product (approx 15-20cc depending upon the size of the car) but saves a ton of time.
I started with air brushing it and had very good success with that. I just recently switched over to an mini-HVLP gun with a .06mm tip. Which i'm...
For heavy oxidation I use 3M Super Duty compound. That stuff is heavy heavy cut. Works great for severe oxidation removal.
I've never used the marine 31 products so I can't attest to those but 3M products work pretty well for marine.
I'm going to say you need to upgrade the lighting in your garage. Something as simple as adding some fluorescent fixtures with 6500k bulbs will brighten it up a ton. Having quality lighting not only shows you more defects but really makes the car shine when it's properly polished and coated...
It's a chemical resistant sprayer I buy in bulk. Similar to the ones on another detailing supply site. PM me if you want the link. It's a more sturdy sprayer. the ones that come with the hyper polish I never liked they always break or clog on me.
I love hyper polish. Have been using it as one of my go to polishes for about a year now. The spray trigger that comes with the bottle is junk. I got rid of it and use a replacement trigger and I have yet to have issues with clogging.
It's much easier to spray it on to a pad. Saves a little...
When I was mobile (have a shop now).

2: Depending upon your level of skill, tools used, type of paint, etc will vary the time of a 1 step...
Yes total cure time. At least that's what I think your getting at here.
So for example Opti-coat pro is chemical resistant after 24 hrs but the total curing time (or hardening) is 30 days. So, I would wait for the 30 days to be up before "glazing" it. As there is going to be some friction and...
Todd I was not trying to cause a fight and I'm sorry you took offense to my post. I would have no way of knowing your town and home owners assoc approved you operating unless I was to make some calls which would just be ridiculous on my part.
And I know there are a lot of Detailer's who work...
You just need to be careful with this.
I started in my home garage without issues. I eventually sold my house and moved into an apartment, so was using my mother's 2 car garage to detail out of while I was looking for a shop (about 5-6 months). I eventually had the town called on me as one of...
