what's everyone doing for exercise these days?

Nah I am not competing in the games this year, I have been too busy the past year to go more than 3 times a week max and even that is pushing it lately. You can look for my friend Rich Fronning Jr that got 2nd last year and Crossfit Cookeville in the affiliate cup. If our affiliate team makes it...

I also think this is a good idea. Maybe we can turn this into more of a petition for Mike to publish a book.

what's everyone doing for exercise these days?

I have been doing CrossFit for about 5 years and it is the only thing that I would ever do for working out. Because of the high intensity you get a lot of results for little time. The gyms do get kind of pricey, but you are pretty much getting a personal trainer which explains the price...

Detailing order? Opti-seal then Poorboy's EX Sealant w/ carnuaba?

As long as you are using a fine to medium grade clay bar you shouldn't run into any issues with the clay bar marring the paint. Just make sure you are not using excessive pressure on the clay bar and that you are using a good clay lube. Also make sure that you fold the clay bar to expose clean...

    Car Brite

My father in law is head over the detailing and body shop at a large auto auction and they use all Carbrite products. He said that he likes them a lot, although they are admittedly not as good a meguiars stuff, but they are cheaper and work well the for type of production work they do. I have...

    AIO's

it is also worth mentioning that you can mix OPT Poli-seal with OPT Polish II to achieve more cut without losing the benefits of the AIO. I can't remember the ratio though. Someone on here will know.

    What's your occupation?

I hope that is what happens, but I figure since I am a contractor and have flexibility at my job now I can let demand decide how many days I detail without really taking any risk and worrying about not having business, especially in the winter months. I really like the idea behind this thread...

    What's your occupation?

I am an IT contractor for Tutco Inc. I just fix all computer problems. I am thinking about trying to detail one day out of the week in the summer months so all of my weekends aren't full. We will see how it goes.

The AutoLavish Customer Service Norm - 2008 Mercedes Benz ML350

that hose is the upgraded hose for Ridgid vacs (it is like $40 extra which I think is ridiculous ). You can get the micro attachments and brush attachments atmultiple places but everything costs extra unfortunately.

    Minivan interior by Northeast Detailing!

I guess there is just something that a sports car with freshly corrected paint does that the interior of a minivan doesn't do. I just don't see many Porsche interiors that are sick nasty, where as minivans would probably top the list of nasty interiors. I am sure kids have something to do with...

    Win a Flex XC3401 Dual-Action Polisher!

I do have a question though. If I am going on how many boxes that I see and not on the assumption that there are boxes behind the ones I actually see, then each picture shows a different number of polishers because I can see more boxes in one pictures just because of the angle.
