I did a test paint on my spare steel wheel. I'm using DupliColor Metalcast Black Smoke Anodised. Because the wheels are black I had to lay down a silver base coat. After that dries you start layering the top coat till you achieve the desired shade. On something this size and shape it's hard to get an even coat. This is 4 coats, probably 1 too many I think, but the previous coat didn't look even enough. Practice makes perfect.
