What did you do today non-detailing related?

That's sick looking, yeah you want some weight in the back on those rainy days.

The PX series Ranger (and Mazda BT-50) are actually quite soft in the rear, take note of how much they sag with a load or trailer hooked to them. I say this because the ride is reasonably comfortable, even a single cab chassis with no load in the back.

My 2010 PK Ranger on the other hand was brutal, with or without a load in the back. It was particularly lethal in the wet, those Mazda diesels didn't have the same amount of turbo lag as the 2.2 Ford/PSA engines, so you hade to be very careful with throttle on wet roads, the 15-inch wheels didn't help either. On a wet day, I could have the old PK cranked sideways through a roundabout in 3rd gear! Allegedly. And no ABS either, that was fun.........................not! It got to the point where I was feeling less and less safe driving the car, and with the stiff ride and hard bench seat (mine was a 3-seater), it was so uncomfortable.

I traded it on the PX MK II, and apart from the gutless engine, its the perfect daily driver for me. This was the last job for the PK.................................I made sure I did it in the old one so I wouldn't mess up my brand new ute straight away (yes, I know).

Ghost will laugh at that mud Deyon

It’s weird how my cat never seems to be around when this happens. Lol.

Mowed the lawn again, and did an oil change on the mower in between doing the front and the back. Mowing is still a weekly thing at the moment, but I'm hoping that will change soon, what with daylight savings ending this weekend. :ROFLMAO:

With the rain over the last week, the grass is growing faster now than it was in summer.

That was due. Pretty sure the snow blower oil will look pristine when I change it. We'll need to start mowing soon and we're gonna fence some areas off and try seeding them. Just did the lawnmower maintenance last month. Spark plug definitely needed to be changed. I've been doing that every other year.

Changed the original spark plugs on my 2013 Tacoma. Truck has 97K miles on it.

Also changed this crap Fumoto oil drain plug. Installed it two years ago and only had two oil changes on it. It was leaking. Cant stand an oil leak on any vehicle. Reinstalled the original drain plug.

Denso spark plugs 👌

Denso spark plugs 👌 When i change mine on my Toyota Camry the connector taps broke, so i had to depin and do all 4. The rubber spark plug boots i add a little dialectic grease just to lube over the top of the spark plugs

I started peeling the Plastidip off my spare front fascia. After I paint my steel wheels I'm considering using the same Black Smoke Anodised paint on it. I can change the shade depending on how many coats I spray, depending on how much I have leftover. 2 hours in and my fingers have had enough.PSX_20250408_165008.jpgPSX_20250408_165309.jpg
