Finally!

I can't say that I'm impressed with the service from the Australian distributor. I ordered this and a FEYNLAB t-shirt back on the 11th of July. On the 24th of July, I emailed asking for progress..................crickets. On the 29th of July I emailed again, this time directly to the company owner and was then replied to saying they had no stock of the t-shirts and were waiting for more to arrive. Um, if they were out of stock, why let customers order them? Or why not send me a curtesy email, or even respond to my first email? I mean, I the shirt was only added to make the shipping cost worthwhile. In the end, they refunded me the cost of the shirt and sent out the detailer via express post.

At the end of the day, I was understanding of why the shipping had been delayed, I know they don't want orders sitting around waiting on stock. But why not a quick email to let me know this instead of worrying my order had been lost in the post. Communication is key!

Sounds like the last place I worked, everything is in stock, even when it isn't. And of course they take the money out of your account straight away. We would adjust stock levels to be correct, and someone would mysteriously put it back in so it showed up as available online, very frustrating for us, looking for stock that wasn't there.

The older boy worked at Home Depot designing kitchens and such and said their inventory system was an absolute joke. It didn't update in real time as sales were made and even big ticket kitchen appliances, cabinets, sinks, etc couldn't be counted on to actually be there so he had to physically roam the store looking in the overhead sections, warehouse, etc looking to confirm stuff for a job was there before he would quote it, although management WANTED him to quote it and write it up regardless, and then deal with the fallout when it couldn't be delivered

He said the inventory on small items was much worse because of the amount of theft

Lowe's isn't any better, and between the 2 stores saying "yup we got it" on line and driving there to find out they don't, or frequently simply can't locate, the items

All in all, very frustrating

So had to order wheel coating for wheels that are almost here. Wanted to use Giest coating as well for Napa leather.

THOR was only place having sale where I could get mix of products I wanted and only one having sale when placing order (20% off, free shipping, and no tax to WA). Also been wanting to try Garage Therapy rinseless.

Funny thing is the sent me ADS wheel cleaner instead of ADS wheel coating. All good contacted them and they apologized and sent out coating. Get to try wheel cleaner for free.

Dumb on me was 1reason I chose THOR is I could add the Feynlab Ceramic detailer spray and forgot

Geist Repel leather coating. Wanted this specifically because states a year and like that it is solvent free.

I have a ton of wheel products to try but wanted to put this up against Tac Systems tire coat which has been giving me a well over a solid month of looking good. I know some sealants have been known to perform good but look good for a week or two.

GT make some solid products, I have reached out to them over the years since 2020 but they're not coming to Australia.

Postage costs was one reason

Has anyone tried one of these to see it it stacks up against the Tornador?

I did a forum search using "blaster" and got a zillion hits on the car dryer but nothing I could find on this

Attention 2 detailing with Chelsea on YT has this topic covered off memory.

On special $60 for 4 litres that's minus postage, Postage was $18 from Melbourne to Tasmania.

I was going to get 5 litres YUM undressed but at $122 minus postage fark that.

My tyre cleaner was P&S undressed but all out.

I bought one but haven’t used it. It’s built very well and got swivel adapters as well. V2 has great reviews and felt confident in saving the money.

I’ve been wanting to try a new tire cleaner but TufShine tire cleaner is so cheap and works so well… probably too much over there.

ReTyre is EXTREMELY capable!

With this product, I've found you can use much less per tyre than other products, such as the P&S Undressed you've just come from. I actually find it works best if you spray it into your brush.

One other thing to note, ReTyre works best with the foaming trigger sprayer. Considering you bought the 4-litre, I'm guessing it didn't come with a sprayer. When this product was released, my bottle was sent without the foaming sprayer. I used it as I normally would but found it very disappointing, I actually wrote it off. But then I tried it with a foaming sprayer and found it performed much better, so the key to this products performance is that foam.

Actually, most people wrote it off because of THAT foaming sprayer, as in you use too much per tyre and that the foam slides off the sidewall. I later discovered that much less is needed than you'd think, hence spraying it into the bristles of your brush rather than slathering the sidewall with it.

This how the first bottle was sent to me -

I then adapted a Kwazar foam tip, which improved the function but not totally -

My second bottle came with the correct sprayer and much better results -

Thanks Deyon for the information guide, I have the foaming spray head but that was sent to me, buy accident in a past purchase from W-it.

Thankfully I kept it.

I bought the P&S Undressed because you were using it and thought well this bloke does a LOT of car's and if it's good enough for him well why not.

How did you like Undressed?

I've found it very capable, but I just wish it lathered up like Brake Buster.
