    That's a great attitude. It definitely takes practice, but I wonder if the pads you're using are also a contributing factor. I use 5.5" low-profile hydrotechs, ccs and flat pads. I still occasionally sling product, but it's much less likely to happen than before.

    Pad Size why 5.5 in.??

    Your technique is the most important variable, but 5.5" pads will help. I use 5.5" and 4" pads with my DA and rotary.

    how long do you take? (clay, polish, wax)

    Some of you guys are fast!! Wash: 45 minutes to 1 hour. Clay: 1 to 2 hours. Polish: 3 hours to a long time. Wax: 15 minutes.

    You can do two to ensure full coverage. It's what I do. Yeah, you would need to strip the wax before using UPGP. Then again, you could try it in two months. By then, the wax's protection may be just about over.

    Thanks. :xyxthumbs: You can apply it by machine or by hand. It's not needed if the paint is already in excellent condition, but it will extend the life of the sealant.

    Happy Friday!!! (already?!)

    Happy Friday fellow geeks! Today my bimmer is getting a thorough vacuum and dressing. Tomorrow or sunday, it's getting polished with M205 and sealed with UPGP. I can't wait!
