Post Your Unpacking Pictures

1oz for 4-5 gallons is fine for regular wash. to strip its 3oz for 3gallons so basically 1oz per 1 gallon

+1. 1 ounce per gallon will strip wax with some agitation. I tried it. IMHO a capful is more than enough for 4-5
gallons. It's very concentrated and thick. In fact, I fill the cap and just sink the filled cap in the filled bucket. Even then, soap still sticks to the cap.

You will love the car pro mitt, use one on my wife's black Audi and it glides accross the paint.:dblthumb2:

How long have you had it? Curious how it's going to hold up to weekly washes.

It feels like great quality, but my only concern is it shedding too much...

After the first use or two it doesn't shed at all. I've had it about a year and it's still like new. It will catch easy on moldings and badges but other than that it's the best mitt I've ever owned!:dblthumb2:

GUESS WHAT I HAD WAITING FOR ME?

This is part of my order, there's still a case of Ultima's Water Wash Plus+ Super Concentrate and another one of Ultima's Paint Guard Plus+ owed to me, but never shipped for some reason.

Anyway, here's a few pictures, and check out the knife I just bought, it's a digital camo special ops tactical knife with a real .45 ACP shell casing! :)

PS: I'm still not sure on the curing or "Flashing" time of the new sealant I ordered, Chemical Guys V7 Optical, before I can safely apply a second coat, or a top carnauba coat.

Very nice order!
2 gallons on CG citrus wash and gloss? At one ounce per wash that's 256 washes ..... That's one clean car bud!:xyxthumbs:

But wouldn't that strip the lsp? So it's kind of defeating the whole purpose of using it as a maintenance wash.

One capful does NOT equal 1 oz. It's about four or five capfuls to equal one gallon. And one oz to 4-5 gallons is perfect.

I um, went overboard (sigh). I rushed around to fill up my cart before the 15% sale was over at midnight, and now, I regret it. I spent a lot of money - and worse than anything, I didn't understand how special the sale was "No Restrictions," because I think the FLEX forced dual-action is the best machine on the market, and I would have loves to purchase that.

Geez, I somehow bought THREE gallons of Detailer's Pride Xtreme Foam car wash. Bleh. $$$ :(

Anyway, if I use a high concentration, like 2-3oz per gallon, of Citrus Wash and Gloss... will it totally strip all sealants and wax on the car (still not sure what the difference is between Citrus Wash, and Citrus Wash and Gloss).

PS: I don't know if it shows in the picture, but I purchased one of the gallon dispensers, which pumps out 1oz per pump, so it should be easy to squirt into the bucket :)

I've never used the CG shampoos but everything I read says yes high concentrations of that shampoo will strip Waxes and sealants.
I've always looked at that pump, I want one, going on my wish list now!:props:
You can always use double up purchases as gifts for birthdays and that sort of thing. Most people get blown away by these professional grade detailing supplies and really appreciate them. You just have to explain they are high quality and very concentrated!
You need to learn to use the wish list, as you come accross stuff add it there. Then when these sales come along you just go through the wish list and add what you want to you shopping cart from there. You can leave off stuff that's on the WL to, just pick and choose, then I go to the BOGO page and What's new page for any last minute adds!
You can go over to the samples post and see if you can trade some of your doubles too!:hungry:

Trade... doubles... you say!? :)

I did that once, a few years back, it worked out awesome! I actually traded some workout advice (I'm a professional trainer and health consultant and competitive bodybuilder) for some detail products, it was fun and cool to make a new friendship. GREAT IDEA!

Looks great, how about some closeups of the other products?

And how did you get your hands on CG Glossworkz Glaze? I couldn't find it on AG... :-/

Every time I ordered from AG I requested a free guzzler, however never received anything for free, not even a small sample of a product.

:xyxthumbs:

Yesterday I received a 3 pack of the new arctic white MF towel. Holy crap these things are soft. They are totally different than the purple Plush Jr. towels. These have a different sort of weave, and while they aren't as plush, they are MUCH softer.

Totally going to keep one for my interior since it matches my car color :)

Just have to wait for my weathertech mats to ship

I never receive free samples from them either unless I remember to include it in my cart and I've been buying from them for years. Then again, I've never expected free bonuses to begin with. I mean, it's a store. They sell products. I've never walked in to Target and expected/hoped they would hand me a free shirt as I was checking out because I've shopped there before. But maybe it's not a fair comparison because AG operates differently. They've definitely spoiled us with contests, bogo's, free towels with your order, etc. I guess the old adage is true; give an inch and they will take a mile.

Those towels do like nice. Although I'm worried about them staining. How will you be using these? To remove wax, polish, dry, etc.
