I used my white pad to polish my sliding glass doors and get a feel for the PC before using it on my car the first time. :)

My first experience with the DP xtreme foam soap was a 4 ounce sample. I used it with my foam gun and promptly ordered a gallon of it. I LOVE the smell and the suds last forever! It's great stuff. :)

You don't need it. :) I think it was an extra piece designed to make the water point downward, but I've never used mine.
