Maybe you could try cutting a hole in the center of a test pad in order to duplicate the dimensions & design of the original intended pad, Rupes' pads, or Rupes-like pads. LC's pad version of for the long-throw has a hole. Maybe a hole would help.

Personally, I would get the FINE grade clay bar from Pinnacle or BlackFire. I would not use Meguiars, or Mothers. I think those two are a little more aggressive than the Fine poly clay offered by Pinnacle & BlackFire. Secondly, I've had better luck with less marring using fine clay vs...

If you are going to clay your car, be sure to get a fine clay such as Pinnacle fine clay bar. Some clay will mar the paint more than others. Polishing will get rid of the marring, but I am assuming you don't own polishing equipment. And, be sure to get a quality clay lube.

$350 for a bra is good money, and that's at a good discount it seems. But that's besides the point. Anyhow, bras are easy to polish. Do you own a polisher? You can polish the other portions that they don't replace to help match the new section.

I've always hears that brake fluid will eat paint, but I didn't know how fast because I've always been so careful to not find out. It's sort of impressive how quickly the brake fluid did that to the bra. BTW, clear bras can be polished.

What about using multiple high-pile towels instead of mitts. That way, you have multiple sides per towel to swipe, and they are cheaper. Plus, you can never have too many towels.

I use CarPro Reset w/ two ounces of apc to 3.5 gallons of water. I was considering using Klasse AIO in 3.5 gallons of water with normal soap. Do you think this would leave something behind?
