Filthy Former Human Trafficking Vehicle Restoration - Unreal!

I'd charge more than that car is worth to detail it, that's for sure. Nasty.

    Critique my website please

It is and that is why I'm getting my own website redone, too busy and old. Getting a website and learning SEO was the single best investment for my business ever. I'm not mobile (thank god, been there done that, no way ever again) and my website drives customers to me on it's own once set up...

the most important, or the most iconic Mercedes model?

1955 300SL gullwing, but I also love the roadsters. I've done well over 30 300sl gullwings so far and they never get old, also quite a few 540k's.

    GD Air Injection system alternative

120psi pump? That's going to be a massive difference between 120psi of air. I've been using an old gravity feed spray gun (non-hvlp) for over 3 years now filled with D114, ONR etc and it works very well for blasting dirt out of the nooks and crannies. I'm not mobile though and have a huge air...

    Cleaning old seats

I would use a good traffic lane cleaner with enzymes, scrub, and then use a hot water carpet extractor to remove all the old nasty funky dirt, grime etc out of the seats. The last ranger I did you could not imagine the amount of dirt my extractor sucked out of the seats...it was nasty. Never had...

    Ozone Generator/Machine

We have and use a corona discharge ozone machine at my shop, it works great but like anything, it's not a miracle machine. Cleaning first is important.

    Tornador Velocity-Vac and Tornador Black?

Tornador Velocity-Vac and Tornador Black are awesome, but make no mistake, they will not replace a good hot water carpet extractor. We to a ton of interiors out of my shop and if I didn't have an extractor, i would be screwed since I feel it's a vital must have tool for rat nasty interiors.

    what are you currently watching?

I think I overloaded on Barrett Jackson this year, love the coverage and when I see a couple cars I detailed go across the block on TV it makes it even better. Still have the car I detailed last year that went across the block on TV recorded on my DVR :xyxthumbs:

    Long ship times?

Almost always a long shipping experience for me, I live in California and I know its going to take between 10-12 days for my order to arrive. I've learned from many, many years of ordering from AG to expect this.

    Dealership Coating Contract

For me personally, I wouldn't want to deal with the certain warranty issues. The sales people pushing xzilon really sell you on the warranty and I can remember the crazy xzilon warranty claims that would come through the door when I worked at the local Mercedes dealership a long time ago.

    Carpet/Upholstery brushes with PC Questions

I use a brush that attaches to my makita rotary via 5/8" thread, I have all three of the cyclo brushes but after I got a large brush that attaches to the rotary, I hardly use them any more.

    Carpet and Upholstery Machines

I use a 7 year old Mytee HP60 that I bought used and isn't very original, I've heavily modified the unit and put dual vac motors in it (running dual 120v cords), a 2000w heater and 220psi pump. It works awesome and these machines are so darn easy to work on or upgrade if your mechanically inclined.

    modifying D120

I've been mixing D120 with Unger Easy Glide glass cleaner to get that slick glide over glass and have had excellent results with that combo. I also had the same issues with D120 not gliding over the glass easily and though it was just me...go figure.

    Microfiber Towels

Meh, I've used Costco Kirkland towels for a rinseless on a jet black BMW with no issues. I had always heard they were terrible towels until I bought some and tried them. It was one of those "if it's on the internet it must be true" moments :D

    Enough complaining about my vacuum!

I've had my ridgid for 6 years, it's used 6 days a week on multiple cars a day, the thing won't die. I've been looking for a reason to upgrade at my shop, but can't find one :xyxthumbs:
