do all sealants have a cure time? 360 & poli seal

i've used both xmt 360 & poli seal. darker colors get xmt 360 & lighter colors get poli seal

had the same problem with meguiars #83. looked great for about a month then after washing about 3 times it looked hazed. not a lot to be said for these one step products. i'll stick with the tried & true method of two or three steps that work.

i believe that the 2.0 is a "cleaner" wax also. it acts like a sealer. it cleans as it waxes.

i take it they are painted on then. so you could polish over them. with vinyl you would not want to use say the XMT 1-4 (or something like it) on the vinyl because it will scratch it. best way to clean vinyl stickers or vinyl stripes is with some type of miniral sprits then use poly-seal or XMT...

tape off the stripes for now - are the stripes painted on or vinyl? if vinyl the only thing i would use on them is a sealer after some mineral spirits to clean the vinyl. hope this helps.

have been washing mine since day one. i spray the pads then put in the washer. mini load on warm/cold when done air dry. i usually wash them with the mf towels using pinnacle cleaner. when the spin cycle is done i check to make sure most of the water is out, if not i press them on a cotton towel...

there both about the same. the 360 seamed to bring the black on the SS out better thow. imo the 360 went on easier and brought out the color more than poli-seal.
