    Other hobbies??

Wow, that last picture makes it look like the tire is practically coming off the wheel.

    Other hobbies??

I enjoy cycling. Regardless if on road or mountain biking. We have some really nice IMBA (international mountain biking association) made trails about 5 miles from my house. When the weather is nice and the trails are dry, I usually ride there (sometimes load the bike on my car) and then ride...

I'll have to take a look at that VRP and sift through some of the trim products, thanks all.

Tire Dressing / Rubber Trim products

A few products that I don't have in my arsenal are tire dressings and something to keep the window seal trim black. Curious if you guys have tire dressings that doesn't fling to the rest of the car as soon as you start rolling. It's been a really long time since I've bothered with these...

My solution to $150 foam guns...

Planning to pick one of these up tomorrow. Accidentally bought the wrong type the other day when purchasing my power washer, but this seems like a good cheap way to get some easy suds.

    best pressure washer

Glad to read this. Just did a quick search for Homelite because I was at HD and looking at pressure washers (actually needed one for usage on my deck, which is a massive 40'x14'), but while looking at the model you mentioned, an employee stopped by and said she had one that was returned...

    2012 vw gti

Car is looking really good after the sealant cured. Sadly I just had to drive in the rain (its had more than enough curing time), but at least the beading is beautiful. I'd post a picture if it wasnt still raining.

    2012 vw gti

Yea. I bought it on April 17 with 63 miles. They really mangled the thing. Gotta say, Wolfgang finishing glaze after swirl remover is beautiful. Bringing that image clarity to life!

    2012 vw gti

I actually have a friend that did, but I couldn't justify the value. My car is about 11k less than the starting Golf R. And plaid seats are totally my thing....although not everyone loves that.

    2012 vw gti

So, I purchased the car and received some dealership swirls... Inside the garage hood shot: Started working this morning around 9:30am. Taking a break for the moment and thought I'd show my progress. After Wolfgang Swirl remover. I still have the roof to finished with WGSR, and then I'm...

    Would you wax without claying?

Some countries will tell you otherwise. They prefer water. Or the 3 shells. You know, from the future. Apparently the forums doesn't approve of my #### link to Demolition Man =(

Can a glaze really be topped?

I'm planning to remove my dealer swirls this weekend. Hope it works out well because my plan is to use: Wolfgang Swirl Remover -> WolfGang Finishing Glaze -> WolfGang Sealant The product page for the glaze specifically talks about topping the glaze with their sealant.

    First time machine polisher, tips?

Finally received my last package to complete all the tools/products I need to make my new car how it's supposed to look. Incoming bombardment of pictures. Today's unpacking: Cleaned and organized my garage today. Remounted my bike higher up so my wife or I don't have to squeeze between...

    Bicycle Protection?

I'm not sure I'd apply any sort of coating to my mountain bike. The last thing I'd want to do is create any slippery surface. I stick to de-greasing and re-oiling my chain after particularly muddy rides, but otherwise you really shouldn't need additives as long as you give it a basic wash every...
