Review & How-To: Wolfgang Bug Remover Spritz

On another note Nick, not sure what year your WRX is, but my 2011 Subaru Outback's paint seems to have hardened over time (if that's possible). It used to be super soft, but now it takes a bit more to induce scratches. But it still etches badly from the bird droppings...

After Rain - Prevent Water Spots

In my experience, if dust has settled for a day or two on a recently washed car and it rains, you will see water spots. I love coming out to my car after or during a rain and see tight beading, and I don't mind cleaning the water spots after. A good quick detail spray (Crystal Mist) or a...

    Tire Spray not a gel

I use this: TURTLE WAX® JET BLACK™ BLACK ENDURA-SHINE TIRE COAT KIT. I have back issues and have difficulty bending over for long times also - I pay the price afterwards. Comes with a bottle of tire cleaner, applicator, plastic gloves, and black liquid tire coat. It's a bit messy to apply...

    Auto Insurance

If your license was given in an accident or if you received a ticket they will know. Typically, 3 years after minor incident(s), they drop off and you won't be charged for them, unless it was a major offense like a DUI which can stay on longer (5-7 + years). Now if you've had a good number of...

    Ultra Ever Dry

Anybody ever seen this used on a vehicle? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPM8OR6W6WE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvTkefJHfC0 Looks pretty crazy!

Next step in reducing risk of scratching paint

The only other thing I might mention which is probably common sense and a no-brainer, but I always wash from the top down on a vehicle. The low areas behind the tires are usually dirtier (more grit) and you could pull some of that up and induce scratches higher up on the vehicle which would be...

Two - For The SHow ----------

I love the view from the back of those Vettes. Red with the black convertible top is my favorite if we're voting. Very nice!

    Pads in Freezing Weather

I know chemicals are to be stored indoors during freezing winter temps, but what about pads? Do pads degrade from being left in a garage during freezing winter months? Thanks.

    New from Huntsville, AL

Me, I would take it to a touchless car wash and get the majority of the junk off. Then probably 2-bucket wash it, clay it, waterless wash it, and then apply a wax, sealant, or coating. You may need to do some correction if it hasn't been done in 4 years, so probably do that after claying. By...

    Protection for New Paint

It's the monsoon season over in the Philippines right now, isn't it? I was there in the Navy years ago and it would downpour every morning and then be really hot and humid the rest of the day! Also, you can use V7 on it after 90 days, but IMO V7 does not give much protection.

    Help!!!

I just want to 'home' and under my avatar clicked on 'new posts'. It gives me 3 pages just as if I went into 'new posts' straight from the forum without going to my home page. If I should be clicking on 2 words other then 'new posts', let me know. When I used to click on 'latest posts' or...

Why isn't everyone using coatings if it is "better" than sealants?

You're ok as long as the ant don't pile up like in the old old movie Phase IV. ha

    Help!!!

They should understand that this will eventually cause a drop in business. If people aren't spending as much time on the forum, they are reading less and will probably buy less, at least less impulse buying. I used to like that they not only had a 'new posts' tab but also a 'latest posts' tab...

Why isn't everyone using coatings if it is "better" than sealants?

A question about coatings as I don't know anything about them really, have not looked into them yet (too many sealants and waxes to use up! ha): Can you tell if an applied coating has been compromised at some point before it is supposed to wear off, such as stones breaking through the...

    McKee's 37 Product Expert Here!

Hey Nick, I just noticed something so I wanted to ask you about it: Since McKee's 37 High Gloss Detail spray is a spanking new formula, why do the product reviews on its webpage go back to 2007? Shouldn't the reviews start when the product is released? I don't mean to be difficult, but it...
