    Menzerna 300 experience

Agreed, Menzerna compounds break down pretty fast IME. It's great when polishing but can be frustrating when compounding.

    New 3D ACA Products!

Probably pretty good. I haven't tried it yet though so I don't want to give bad information.

    New 3D ACA Products!

Today I used the new ACA compound with my Flex PE-14 and the lake country lambswool cutting pad (with the blue foam interface) on a 2002 black single stage toyota 4-runner that had never been polished. It definitely cuts more and runs much cooler than 3D 501 Cutting Compound and HD Cut+. I also...

    Sun-friendly Products

Meguiars products seem to work exceptionally in the sun. D115 Rinse Free Wash & Wax and D156 X-press spray wax are two of the most sun friendly products you will find. For a sun friendly AIO this is another category HD Speed is hands down the best option

    New 3D ACA Products!

I've had quite a bit of time with these two products. I'm looking forward to see what others have to say, but this is my experience... The polish was too oily for me and had an almost infinite working time on a DA. Reminded me of a mix of Menzerna MC2500 and M205. It certainly finishes well and...

HD Speed - Quick One Step on Ford F150

I agree with this 100% I don't do much mobile work but last week I had a mobile job and realized halfway through that I forgot to bring my bottle of HD Speed. Even though it worked out fine, I got the same feeling in the pit of my stomach like I'd get in high school when I'd get to class and...

    What is on my tires?

I can almost guarantee that is from a solvent based tire dressing. Like gspam1 said, most degreasers and APC's are completely ineffective at removing that. If you're used to using Meguiar's D101 APC, D108 Degreaser, or D143 non-acid wheel and tire cleaner you'll know that these chemicals aren't...

Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Vs DG rinseless

I've been rinseless washing w/ N-914 and D114 for so long that last week I decided to do a rinseless wash with ONR and I was immediately reminded why I no longer use it. Although I can tell it does a better job encapsulating dirt (which I'm sure leads to safer washing) and I can live with it...

How much D115 to add to 5 gallons of water

"Hey ######....give me money. Oops, what I meant to say is you'll never truly experience maximum shine and gloss until you've spent $80 on a single rinseless wash with D115." -Mike Stoops (allegedly)

    Compound ideas

Ron, I'm starting to think you got a bad bottle of Menzerna SHC 300. I think Carpro Clearcut is FANTASTIC, but for me it cuts a little more than Jescar Correction Compound and little less than M101. It doesn't smell like strong solvents like M101 which I love and when used on microfiber it...

    Clean air vents

Tornador and a boars hair brush. If you have access to compressed air, personally I think that investing $100 in a tornador classic is a better investment than steamers in that price range. I use distilled water with a little squirt of N-914 inside my tornador reservoir

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

If you're using it with a polyfoam wax applicator pad you'll fine. Just be smart with the amount of pressure you're applying. In the past I've used HD Speed many times by hand with a foam applicator on aftermarket tinted windows for cleaning off smokers film. I just used really light pressure...

wax (collinite 476S) over HDSpeed ??

Was never a fan of poxy (although it works great on pebbled plastic trim) and I'm a huge fan of most 3D products. Definitely go with the collinite. Like others have said, apply it as thin as possible.

Hardest paint I have ever seen

FCC on either Meguiars or LC microfiber cutting pads is fantastic on hard paint. When it's really hard paint, M101 is great to have. I personally never had much success cutting with foam pads on really hard paint

Lake Country SDO vs Thin Pro

That's a hard choice. Probably the SDO pads. They're a little bit thinner/lighter than the uro-tecs and thinner than the LC HDO pads because they don't have the rubber interface. The reason I prefer them to thin-pro pads is because of the center cooling chamber. Plus, the SDO pads are an...

Topping AIO’s with Sealant - Basic test

Many of my customers bring me their cars every 6 months and depending on budget I'll almost always use HD Speed with a white polishing pad to deep clean the paint from any road grime or traffic film that wasn't removed during the washing or claying process and to bring out incredible gloss. I...

SDO pads are great. They work fantastic on long-throw and 8mm polishers.

BOSS MF Pads: New packaging and design?

Buff and shine uro-fiber pads also recently switched from the black hook and loop to white with the customized logos printed in the backing. I actually think the new hook and loop material on the uro-fiber pads is better now. I wish I didn't buy so many of the old version of the Boss...
