    Matte/Satin tire dressing, recommendations?

PERL I use it 1:1. CG Silk Shine diluted down is really good too with the longevity nod to PERL.

Griots best of show paste wax / carnuba wax thoughts

I found FK1000 to be much more user friendly than Collinite 476. Much easier to buff off after passing the swipe test.

    MEGS D156 As drying aid

This. My waffle weaves have ended up just pushing the water around. I recharge them w vinegar and hot water washings. They're a little better but not what they were when new. When using it I use as a drying aid and then go over the car again as a LSP maintenance washes. Excellent product.

    What Was Your First Car?

At 16 I inherited a '94 dark green Dodge Intrepid w 86k. Drove it for 4 years until it had 111k miles and traded it in. Decent car that was kept pristine with turtle wax, black magic and armor all brand products.

    Removing Old Car Smell

Just spray a whole bottle of CG stripper scent inside the thing and close it up for awhile. If that fails then steam cleaning all of the upholstery and panels would probably be a good first step.

    Americas Top 10 Detailers?

IMO the best detailers would have a perfect balance of Quality of work, price, timeliness and customer accommodation. Those are things I as a customer would want. At a business conference I learned that the key to service excellence is: Provide a perfect product/service, do it in a timely...

    Best sealant for tunnel wash

CG Blitz is pretty strong sealant for being a spray. It really goes on more like a liquid, is thinner than a liquid sealant but thicker than a spray. Spray on a MF brick and one spray can cover a normal panel. Buff off the haze. If time is another enemy this is a pretty quick way to spread a...

any products to seal windshield against snow, grime and rain?

Collinite and any of your sealants would work. The best stuff I've ever put on glass were CG Blitz, WGDGS, and Reload. All work well and all will last a while.

Longest lasting Synthetic Paint Sealant for Daily Driver? (poll)

This topic got me really intrigued about FK 1000, so I bought some and after a good washing put a coat on my wife's Pilot. FK1000 is a huge can for the price. The nice thing about it beside the shine and slickness is how easily it buffs off. Ease if removal leans much closer to WG than Collinite.

    Will Paint Outlast the Car?

In my experience anything Chrysler from the 90s or early 2000s have clear coat failure. But then again Chrysler products from that era don't last much longer than 100K miles anyway.

Do you wash your drying towels?

I wash them because I often Use a QD as a drying agent or megs D156 as a "wax as you dry" kinda thing. Actually I rarely ever dry the car without some kind of spray drying aid. Even if I plan to wax or seal after. I wash them with the rest of my towels. Hot water and Arm n hammer Oxy clean

The "Suggestions" & "Comments" Thread for Autogeek

Put in an order a week and half ago. After I order I usually refill my cart with the stuff I intend to buy next. While doing so I realized there was a big sale and I had failed to enter the code. I emailed AG and they honored the sale for me. AG is also the most comprehensive detail supply shop...

    The ultimate shine after polishing.

Ok thank you. I actually have Hydro on my car with a Reload topper . As much as I love Car pro products I have no interest in a real coating.
