Britemax remax SIO2 Spray sealant

The price for the 128oz is very good if this sealant is a hit. For the pro detailers and weekend warriors that go thrue alot of sealants.
 
Interesting they didn't go the "spray on, hose off" route like all the others, hmmmmm
 
Has anyone used any their products? I tried the Puremax Shampoo and thought it was ok. I might buy some more because its supposed to be "safe" to use.

The Vantage Wax smells really good and might be fine for a garage queen, but in the real world of daily drivers [for example mine] it didn’t make it to the 4th week before the paint was rough with embedded contaminants. What do you expect from Carnauba wax though... Not the easiest wax to wipe off.

BriteMax Interior Dressing is outstanding. Highly recommend.

BriteMax Puremax Shampoo. Nothing noteworthy.

BriteMax Final Shine Metal Polish & Sealant. Arguably the best metal polish I’ve ever used. The only minor thing is it’s watery consistency, but once you get over that it’s pretty amazing stuff + it’s built in sealant is no slouch.

BriteMax LeatherMax. Pretty good stuff. Smells like leather, non greasy even immediately after applying while providing just enough of a sheen to let you know you’ve applied something. It does good.

BriteMax MaxShine High Gloss Liquid Polymer Montan Wax. Decent cleaning ability even though it’s not labeled as such. Limited longevity on daily drivers. Better results on garage kept rides.

BriteMax Grimeout. That deserves its own thread... More on that product later.
 
6 months seems a bit on the strong side.

A lot of companies going this way, carbon collective has speciale etc essentially adding sio2 to qd to add hydrophobicity and some longevity as a sacrificial layer. Good benefits for standard poly sealants though I wouldn’t think it’d work so great over wax.

One product I bought and never looked back. Outstanding product!!

Britemax polishes suck(other than black max), but everything else I've tried, I've liked.

I saw a Youtube review of black max and he got really good results on a pretty swirled up panel. When reading the description on the britemax site it says to leave a polymer base with non protection. It's like a cleaner for wax application.

What is your experience with it? It seems to be a really good finish polish and prep for waxes. Is that your impression of it also?

A "sealant" is a wax it's just synthetic that's all. Thats the only diffrence

Thanks for the response! I may be in the market for a new metal polish in the near future may have to try Britemax based on what you said.

Not really, a wax is a wax and a sealant is a sealant. I know they get used interchangeably, but they really shouldn't. Typically those sealants prefer to bond to clean paint or other synthetic polymers and tend to not bond so well to natural carnauba wax.

I saw that video, but I've never been able to get swirl removal like that. Maybe the paint he was working on was soft. It's a good finishing polish. It leaves the surface slick and is SUPER DUPER EASY to remove.

I'm curious as to why Eldo didn't like Grime Out. I LOVE that product!

Just another opinion. I'm almost done with my can of Britemax Vantage. At the moment I have 2 coats on my wife's car and it still has reasonable slickness and beading at 2.5 months this Fall & Winter. It's been topped with UWW+ polymers & Crystal Mist a few times as temperatures allow. Easy on & easy off after 10 minutes of hazing. Nice Carnuba & polymer blend that I would buy it again for daily drivers. Worth a try.

I agree as far as the slickness & beading.. But it doesn’t do much in regards to preventing bonded contaminants [especially where I live] and that’s #1 on my list.

Here’s why.
1. Directions say to use straight undiluted for heavy cleaning, in my case that would be cleaning tires. @$27.00 per gallon, that’s simply not a good value for tire cleaner when I can buy Megs Super Degreaser for $20.00 and dilute it @4:1 to make 5 gallons and basically get the same results.

2. Directions say to spray and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes... Ain’t got no time for that! Especially when I’ve got Megs Wheel Brightener that I’m spraying on the wheels at the same time. I need something that works instantly, like Super Degreaser.

3. And last but certainly not least... I bought Grimeout with high hopes of using it as an effective interior/carpet cleaner. I gave it a go on my drivers side floormatt to test it out @the recommended 4:1 dilution for interior cleaning.

After multiple sprayings and scrubbing the daylights out of my floormatt...

It’s simply unable to get the “grimeout”
To make it worse, it’s left my matt sticky as can be in that big spot of dirt that it can’t get out!

I had to leave for work without my matt because it couldn’t do the job... I came back from work, giving it all day to dry and this is what my matt looks like now.

This degreaser is hot garbage! I’m going back to Megs Super Degreaser asap. What a waste of money...
