Started a reply then realized how old this post was, lols.

The shipping thing is just gnawing at me. I am spoiled by Amazon even though I know that shipping ain't cheap, but still...every time I order something, it's almost Amazon every time that gets the business because of shipping.

one thing i appreciate is AG listens to their customers and i have noticed they have had a lot more sales with free/flat rate shipping which is very much appreciated (we all know shipping isn't cheap these days). if it's reasonable they will do whatever they can to make the customer happy (sometimes if there's a better option somewhere else then you got to do what you got to do) and try to keep their business. now, if we can get BOGO on polishers someday... ;)
 
just wanted to Thank AG for all the terrific sales in 2017!
 
Put in an order a week and half ago. After I order I usually refill my cart with the stuff I intend to buy next. While doing so I realized there was a big sale and I had failed to enter the code. I emailed AG and they honored the sale for me. AG is also the most comprehensive detail supply shop around. I've found a number of other stores but AG has the most products from a large number of brands/lines. You can literally buy the best or your favorite of each type of product on this site alone.

:xyxthumbs: not to mention free shipping (and flat rate) sales all the time which is awesome for many of us who may not need a whole lot at the moment...

i had placed an order from the sister site last week and hadn't received any notification that it had been filled/shipped for close to three days. i figured that they were extremely busy (which i'm sure they were) and wasn't upset. made a phone call and within/less than 30 minutes i got the tracking info. no business is perfect and sometimes things slip through the cracks..

btw, Happy New Year!

I'd sign up for a prime membership that offers discounted shipping (but free is good perhaps ground service), prime only deals and so on. And don't do away with 25% off sale etc. Love them!
 
please bring back the BOGO (or at least for a little while)! if you need help choosing some items, please let me know and i can give you some "good" suggestions... ;)
 
here are a few suggestions for the AG store front page. thanks for listening...

1. left tab with categories on the side just like it use to be. *easier to read and navigate*

2. reduced (or free shipping) shipping every so often for those who only need a few things *not everyone needs $95 worth of products for the free shipping*

3. separate BOGO section. many will add a few things to complete their order. *products other than house brands*

4. keeping up with new released products. *other competitive online retailers are receiving them sooner than the AG store*

5. best sellers tab. *reminds people of what new product(s) they may have missed*
 
Why do their jobs for them? Shouldn’t there be somebody on the job figuring this type of stuff out already?
 
I just want the ability to search for products lol. I put what I want to search for in the search bar, and it takes me to random products. It makes no sense.

They think they already have it figured out.

That's what these big corporations do. They try and force their own business model into a small company because "they know better".

Goodbye to the AutoGeek that built its name/reputation by giving special attention to little "perks" like free shipping and BOGO's.

And Hello to Corporate AutoGeek who would run over your grandmother in the street if it meant making a dollar.

Hell, this forum itself is a "perk". But perks don't make money. That is why there is no attention given to it any longer.

First Mike P, then Meghan, and who knows how many other long-time employees have left??

The writing is on the wall IMO..........
 
It’s a shame.

AG seems to have as likely a chance of surviving without MP as Project Veritas has without James O’Keefe.
