I got an insurance quote today. please help

I do not see anything on there about garage keepers liability. You want to be covered to drive peoples car. You want to be able to store peoples car also. Sometimes I pickup customers cars and bring them to my house to detail. Sometimes customers will drop the car off the night before or pick up...

After a few years, I gave the website a facelift.

The photo album was part of the template I used. It is just a basic template from Yahoo small business. I'm into my third year hosting with yahoo and have not had any problems. My wife is a graphic designer so she is able to dress up the template. She hates templates but she dose not know web...

Anyone Using Paypal Here™ for CC Transactions? If not, what?

I use GoPayment. If you are used to having cash only, be prepared that you will get a tax form showing how much you took in. So if you are not now, you will be paying taxes on what you swipe. GoPayment has been great to work with.

    selling a service

Why are you targeting customers 1 and a half hrs from your house? If he is telling you all he wants is a wash why would you even consider it? Time is money, 3hr round trip to wash 3 cars is not a good idea. Look for customers near you.

After a few years, I gave the website a facelift.

Last year I gave a couple professional coatings a test run, I never planned on carrying more than one. After a year of reviewing the most popular ones, I settled on Opti. After a few years, I gave the website a facelift.

I wanted a refresh on the website, so I did a redo. I was able to keep the simple clean look that most people like while making it look fresh and new. I updated photos and prices. I reduced my photo gallery from 60 to 16 photos. I eliminated my cquartz finest page.(no longer want to be an...

    Rent for your shop

Zoning laws do apply to almost all areas. I never heard of any place that has none. Seajay's correct, once someone complains it's over. People who buy homes in a residential neighborhood have every right to peace and quiet. Running a business from a garage makes noise. I do cars at my house and...

Do wraps/stickers on your mobile rig bring you business?

My full time job is at the post office and I park my truck out front by the exit. Thousands of people a day see my truck so it does lead to business. I did need to get commercial plates when I put my company name on my truck.

Google Adwords things you should know

I only turn my ad words campaign on when I need to fill the next months book. In 6 or 7 days I only spend like $7. Then I turn it off until I need to fill the book. I get way to many calls when I am using ad words.

    Potential Issues with Mobile Detailing

Employees are really expensive. Even if you can find them cheap (paying them $8 or $9 hour) your cost is going to be much higher. I've had the same "helper" for 2 yrs now but I still can't afford to hire him.

Rinseless wash users. How do you clean your wheels?

Just use the left over ONR in the bucket. Sounds like you keep the car up so you should not have any problems.
