Yea, i know what you guy's mean. Here in Naples Florida, there are tons on lawn service people. One Sunday i spent all day washing and waxing my 25,000 mile Lincoln LS. Next day the wife and I went to Panera Bread here in Naples. I parked my car away from all the other cars (door dings I hate)...
That means your using too much ONR if it kills your OCWC. You only need a very small amount of ONR to soften water when using regular car wash soap. This is what I have found, anyways.

I have used both of these products as QD's. They both work good. However, I prefer UWWP+ mixed 1/2ounce UWWP+ to 22 ounces of distilled water. I think the finish is slicker and the UWWP+ is so cost effective, although that is not my main motivation for using UWWP+.
Just my opinion.

I believe that expensive paint jobs are not only the "just the paint" but in the amount of prep work that is done before, during, and after the paint is applied, eg: how many hours is spent on block sanding and color sanding.

Generally speaking, that's why I usually stay with my cars when I take them in for service. I know that everyone can't do this, but if at all possible stay with car when getting serviced. I don't trust auto mechanics in general or repair shops. Lot of make work projects going on! I would have...
Re: Canadian Distributor
Agree with your statement! This why I usually order from AG and bring it through the border myself. I have my order sent to an American address.

Hi Speedfreak81: Congratulations on the awesome job you did on this beautiful BMW M5! This is also one of the best pictorial of a full paint correction that has been on this forum or any other forum for that matter. It truly shows what can be with the right knowledge and the right products. I...
I haven't used Duragloss Wash #901, however, I have used Optimum's car wash (which I add an once of Optimum No Rinse) and it works really great. Good cleaning ability and lots of suds etc, and leaves a nice reflective finish to the paint. Can't see using anything else.

I have not used the liquid Souveran, but I just used some of the spray Souveran and it made my white 2011 Lincoln MKX really pop. I will be ordering some of this liquid Souveran in my next order. That BMW looks great!

Yes, that's what I heard about silicone's and painting a car. I don't really understand how it affects the painting of a car. Is it hard to get off, I wonder? As far as being a quick detailer, on the lable of the bottle I have it says "Lucas Slick Mist"/fast & easy speed wax. It claims to be...
Has anyone used Lucas Slick Mist. and what did you think of it? Also, I understand that Slick Mist is a silicone based product and what would be the ramifications of using this product and then using a wax or sealant afterwards.
Thanks,

I agree with you about plush microfiber towels. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong or maybe I didn't have enough wax on paint etc, as they bunch up terrible. I have purchased a number of them from AG, however, I will look for better towels for using with quick detailer. Maybe for a...
How do you like the Jag XJ? I have been looking at one, a 2010 XJR with 38,000 thousand K's on it. They seem like a really nice car. The XJR has the 510 HP super charged engine in it.

I concur with you, muscle. I, personally, don't like 1B3 websites. Too busy, confusing etc, plus he doesn't freely post prices. One would have to assume that there over priced, also. I'm also not trying offend anyone, however, 1B3 wanted to make his opinion known (as a way of drumming up some...
