When will you NEED a glaze?

Thanks Mike. I think people got away form the original question and started giving personal preference. Which although i do appreciate it, it can cause some confusion. This statement of yours answers the OP perfectly. "body shop industry working on fresh paint did not want to seal the paint...

When will you NEED a glaze?

I see. Wash, clay, glaze, seal, wax. Does that sound about right? Does Klassee AIO work like a glaze?

When will you NEED a glaze?

I've read the write up under Auto Paint Glazes but still need a little clarification. I'm ordering a few products now that will make my shine pop and was interested in using/owning a glaze, I've never used one. But after reading on them it appears that a good sealant followed by a wax...

    Wash and wax shampoo suggestions

For the first time. You guys are actually talking me OUT of a purchase. Typically a question here cost me $50.00  However I still think the right brand may make a believer out of a few of you. I however do not have the trained eye as many of you have. So I'd better follow the voice of...

    Wash and wax shampoo suggestions

Sorry about that. As I re-read it I see the confusion. too wordy. Simply put- are quick detailers and wash wax products equal. Chemicals found in one is found in the other.

    Wash and wax shampoo suggestions

Looking forward to your review, include before after shots if you can. The car I have in mind is my own and it never gets really dirty as its in the garage most of the time. I'll strip the old wax in the spring and start over but by mid summer I'll prob just use a good spray or a wash/wax...

    Wash and wax shampoo suggestions

Thanks, i was wondering about that myself. I understand a Wash&wax AIO product will be, well, watered down. But it does seem to be on par with the spray waxes/ quick detail. I see you never tried them but based on the products chemical make up, would you see them as equals or close to it?

Fully Detailing One part at a Time?

Are you talking paint correction? if so, I have done something similar. I spent 2 days getting my hood right. Day 3 on the right side and top, day 4 left side and trunk day 5 seal & wax Complete wash and clay on day 1 is a must.

    Wash and wax shampoo suggestions

I'm looking to get a good shampoo with an added wax agent . I have used one in the past (it was a friends) and was amazed at the results. I cant recall the brand. I read a recent post here today and it re-sparked my interest in this 2 in one item. So what have you tried and liked?

    Much needed wash+wax.

Nice work. it's fun working with friends. Well sometimes it is. Not only does the project go faster but you have some one to crack on in the good spirit of competition. - Looks like it took a few extension cords to get power to the lot but you made it happen. :xyxthumbs:

    2010 Toyota Sienna

NICE. Appears to clean and seal great. if you use this product over a waxed car will it simply layer and add to the shine or might it hinder the performance of a high end wax?

    Help me design my garage

Very helpful Kurt. As they say, hind site is 20/20. I've heard before that some with tiles prefer the epoxy. I'm pretty sure that's the route I'm going. I will add the flakes and grit to provide traction when its wet. Good painting tips as well. I'd love to see a few pics if you can.

    Help me design my garage

Thanks mark. Great ideas. I really like the compressor in the attic. I never though of using that space for a functioning item. Man those lights are long. I'll look into it. I can only claim part of the floors mess. The PO did the larger stains.

    Help me design my garage

Before :Picture:- My gawd, what a dump! I’ll be using a light colored paint on the walls and would like to add a bit of contrast where the wall bumps out. I could use some suggestions on a color that pops. Not sure what to do with the floor but I’m...

Never using my Foam gun AGAIN!

I just picked up the Husky 1550. It also comes with an attachable bottle creating a canon. It appears to be a screw on nozzle so hopefully there's less chance of it coming off while using it. Redmed Were you using a standard water line or a pressure washer?
