Just to be clear, in your experience its a toss up in gloss, durability, slickness, just a tad different in application, but 22ple vs cquartz uk are the same?
If TSR removes any swirls that may be there and gives the finish a flawless finish as far as that, could there be a haze left behind though?
If there is a haze, are there any WG products that would work? Note that I am hearing mixed reviews about using FG because I am prepping for a coating and...
I am not quite understanding on this particular product. Does it have fillers and or oils? I am looking to correct my truck and it doesnt need much work, but I am coating it so I want to make sure the paint is bare? Or if it does have fillers, the IPA wipedown will take care of them anyway?
When you do a rinseless wash in the parking lot over your lunch work hour. But since its only an hr and the truck takes too long you settle for shiny rims
Can you use these with say wg swirl remover 3.0? It says the pads do not have any cut but obviously the product does. I know you can vary say the orange pads with different levels of product, but not sure on the blue pads.
Thank you
I am not doing OC, I want to feel that slickness. I have thought about Cuk but 22ple keeps sparking my interest. Ok , now i understand a little more about the steps to "prep" it with these specific products. I cant promise I wont have more, but thank you very much
I am still not sold on what I am buying. I am leaning towards 22PLE, but not sure.
So are these prep polishes? Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer / CarPro Eraser Intense Oil & Polish (i think you said eraser above)?
This is very good information, I like how its product specific.
Ok, now with that you said i can formulate a begining game plan.
So after using say TSR/Uber and it clears everything up, then I can go write to the coating?
No IPA? and No Eraser because Polishing removed the wax, correct?
My...
Hey
I understand the concept (as well as read the articles) on do a test spot with the least aggressive product first and work from there.
Would I start with the Swirl Remover and if not getting the results then work with a more agressive pad? if still no results, then go to the Uber...
On that note, if you apply a coating on a DD on say saturday, but have to go to work on monday, will it mess up the coating? Whether it be OC or another big name? Like dirt, road grime, etc get into the coating, or will it be "cured enough"?
Also does the wg finishing glaze work with the above? i know the term glaze for this product is different than megs no 7, correct? i am looking to remove light scratches and some swirl marks cause by me made during washing/rinseless washing it
Well i made a dummy shopping cart order today to price out some of the options you guys gave. Who would have thought buying a da would feel like a life and death situation. Ill let you guys know what i get and hopefully figure out how to post pics of the truck. Thanks all
