I have used ONR at a couple of degrees above freezing to wash off salt. As previously mentioned, prespraying does make washing much easier

I have used ONR on interior trim and contrary to my expectation it did not increase the gloss at all. It will be interesting to see how your test section works but based upon my experience it may work without any problems

The final picture shows a huge improvement and looks great. I do wonder if applying some Megs #7 a day before polishing would help. I have no used the FG400 so cannot really offer any advice with this product

I guess it has been quite a while since I went over 1500rpm with a compound although I accept some do work best at higher speeds. Generally I would use lowest speeds when using a finishing polish.
