First Choice Wax for Black Mercedes E550

Supernatural ***ROCKS***. The only reason I don't mention it is because of it's difficulty of application. This is one wax that will haze and sweat if you don't apply it absolutely perfect.

I think i have done it right? Chemical guys products

Glossworkz is a wonderful glaze. Black Light is way overrated. Leave that off and upgrade the wax.

Auto Finesse Tripple is my favorite AIO :dblthumb2:

First Choice Wax for Black Mercedes E550

Depends on how much you want to spend, what durability you want, etc. - souveran looks nice on black but has the durability of about 8 raindrops. - raceglaze black label gives fabulous warm gloss. - swissvax mystery gives scary depth and reflections and outstanding durability. My personal...

Tundra and 4Runner here.....both drag through the mud sand snow slop tow everything I need to ride like a Cadillac 100% bulletproof.

    Cyclo Orbital polisher

I've had my Cylco for years and would never get rid of it. Still the smoothest most bulletproof polishers ever made.

Should paint be perfectly smooth after claying?

Get some new clay and some clay lubricant. Ricardo is the best there is. You might not get 100% perfectly smooth regardless. Contaminants can work their way under the clear coat. In that case, it's time for Auto Finesse Iron Out or Car Pro TRIX.

    Help me pick a polisher

Get one of the Rupes 15 or Duetto package kits. Stunning results every time and very easy to use for a beginner.

I really like Auto Finesse glass cleaner. Great cleaning power and never streaks. Use microfiber towel specifically for cleaning glass.

    Big Volume Detailing vs Us

Well, the car has two coats of 22PLE on it, and it's not like they were going to start it on fire with their products or anything. hahahahahahaha.

    Rupes Pads

I use Sonax Perfect Finish, FG400 on occasion, Scholl Concept's, and Rupes polishes. That's it.

    Big Volume Detailing vs Us

$1800 is assuming everyone chooses the "basic" service for $23 plus tip. There were like 8 levels of service. Don't get me wrong here, I don't offer or advocate this type of work, I'm just saying what I observed first hand.

    Rupes Pads

You are free to use any pad you wish. I'm going to say this just one last time: I've had four non-Rupes pads fly off of my 21 while polishing. On the fourth time I didn't pull it away fast enough and gouged the front quarter panel of a Porsche. It cost me $1600 to have it fixed. So how many...

    Big Volume Detailing vs Us

I have no complaints for $23 plus tip in 32 minutes. They swarmed the cars like an ant colony from one station to the next and worked very efficiently. Each person had a specific job. The cars rarely sat idle for more than 30 seconds. Just in the time I sat there eating my sandwich, I...

    Big Volume Detailing vs Us

My 2012 4-Runner was pretty run down. Very dirty interior and exterior for reasons we will not discuss. It would probably take me about 3 hours to do a very nice basic clean up inside and out. But I decided to do an experiment. Over my lunch hour I took it to one of the many big volume...

    Should i charge extra?

WAY WAY WAY underpriced all around. Regardless, unless you really know what you're doing, do not remove seats. There can be all kinds of advanced electronics in there. Screw anything up and you'll be fixing it.....

    Agressive wash for Foamer

P21S Total Auto Wash will certainly do it, but it will strip any wax and put a serious dent in any sealant even mixed 2:1 with water. Auto Finesse Citrus Power will not strip any LSP even full strength and does a magnificent job. Cheap? No, but very useful.
