    Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

Just looked at the Renny Doyle Jeweling Wax (Envy). It's $55 for 16 oz. Clearly there's a market for these products I guess.

    Wax or sealant for daughter

My recommendation would be a spray wax as well for ease of use. So many great options. Optimum Car Was (as mentioned above) would be a great choice. I'd also suggest Mckees Fast Wax, DG Aquawax or Sonax High Speed Wax. For something that's easy to use and will last a little longer I'd suggest...

    Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

eh, I think it would say more about the other 'detailer' if they derided you for using a 'wax' on a customer's car. On this site alone, there are a number of 'waxes' selling for over $100 a piece, several of those at $200 or more. You certainly don't see 'high end' sealants commanding that kind...

    Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

Are we still talking about the Pinnacle Jeweling Wax? If so, it's selling for $45.99. Again, it does seem high but I looked around and the Mckees jeweling wax is $39.99 for a 16 oz. bottle (although it also comes in an 8 oz. bottle). Not sure what else to compare it with. Essence is also $40...

    Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

Must be a market there. Consider PA Final Polish is $33 for 7 oz. and the Pinnacle polishes look like a good deal all of a sudden. But as it pertains to AIOs specifically, I've just never seen the point outside of a production environment. None of them have good durability and everyone is...

    Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

It does seem high but when you consider a 16 oz. bottle of Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover and Finishing Polish are $50 this isn't out of line with their other products.

    SAMPLES (original post updated)

11 yrs later, I'd be surprised if Scott still has those samples available.

Air Force One... shining a part of American history.

Probably from a cost perspective I'd guess. I'm not sure how much it would cost in product to ceramic coat a plane of this size. $10 grand? More? If he used polish angel it would be like half a mill lol.

Echo20 dilution all over the map

I just have a 32 oz. bottle I use but I literally put in 20 oz. of water plus an oz. of Ech2o plus an oz. of Reload

Echo20 dilution all over the map

I had problems with streaking at high dilution ratios (1:10). I ended up settling on 1:20 plus adding an ounce of reload to the mix and primarily using it as a drying aid/QD for my coated car and have been very happy with it. Between this site and Autopia you'll see a hundred different ratios...

Polish Angel is now at Autogeek!

I get a cheap pack of micro applicators wherever I can find them (AG or in stores) that I also throw out after using with High Gloss. But for removal I use a high quality MF towel. When I'm done a throw it in a bucket of water with a little APC in it and let it sit the rest of the afternoon. I...

Has Anyone Used Aquawax on top of McKee's Paint Coating as a Drying Aid?

Haven't used it on Mckees coating but I'm sure it'll be fine. Just be aware that it'll 'cover up' your coating and you'll now have the properties of Aquawax (beading, sheeting, self cleaning, etc.) as opposed to the coating, at least until the Aquawax wears off. I'm not saying that's a bad thing...

New Blackfire Pro Coating + SiO2 Spray Sealant + Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

I'm guessing (with the exception of the coating obviously) these are all 32 oz. versions like their other products in this new line that's marketed to professionals. Unfortunately the size isn't mentioned on the product pages. So probably doesn't make sense for the average hobbyist to buy some...

New Blackfire Pro Coating + SiO2 Spray Sealant + Pinnacle Jeweling Wax

Got excited about the BF dressing for a second, but appears that it is just a pure dressing and has no cleaning properties according to the description and the front of the bottle. Unfortunately not a replacement for Trim & Tire AIO. Seems like more of a competitor to PERL. Other products are...

What ceramic coatings do you recommend? First time trying it?

I used the new version (v2). I'm going to use it again in the spring to see if I have better luck. I found it very difficult to remove. Almost syrup-like in its removal. It was cool in my garage though (~58 degrees) so I want to see if I apply it in ~70 degree weather it might go on better. I...

What ceramic coatings do you recommend? First time trying it?

I know many suggest Mckees as the ideal coating for a first time user. But I actually found it difficult to work with compared to many others I've tried. If you do use it I'd suggest spraying it on a suede cloth (wrapped around an applicator) and applying it like a traditional coating. Spraying...

Looking for advice for new Mercedes paint

I have a 15 E350. Very hard paint. I like GG FC cream and Boss microfiber pads for cutting. Cant seem to get as quick a cut with any other foam pads. Clean that up with HD Polish+ on a polishing pad. I use a GG6 FWIW.

What ceramic coatings do you recommend? First time trying it?

CanCoat would be a great choice. Also Optimum Gloss Coat is ridiculously easy to apply and would be a good choice for first time coating.

Need 3" backing plate and pads and an AIO

Love the GG 3" HD plate and Boss pads with my GG 6. Not big on AIOs but do really like Essence.
