    McKee's Hydro-blue and Film...

I've used various coatings and road film (especially in winter with salt, etc.) needs agitation to fully remove. Ive got Mckees paint coating on now and it keeps my car much cleaner but still doesnt keep road film from sticking. Hydro Blue is allowing me to keep my wheels looking great with just...

Video: CarPro GLISS... a new hyper slick top coat! (Ceramic coating)

I'm not sure if it would matter at least for the good ones as they measure the surface itself for clarity, reflection, etc. Todd @ Esoteric had some videos out there on the ones he sells.

Video: CarPro GLISS... a new hyper slick top coat! (Ceramic coating)

I won't link it but google 'Rhopoint IQ gloss meter'. I can see these catching on as a way for car care companies 'to put their money where their mouth is' when talking about how their wax/coating / sealant is the glossiest product on the market

Griots Garage 3" BOSS HD Oribital Backing Plate

Using Fast Correcting Cream with the microfiber pads for compounding. Thats my favorite combo for quick cutting. Then for polishing I've been using HD Polish+ with the yellow boss pad. HD Polish+ is my go to polish although I havent used Boss Perfecting Cream. The Boss polishes can be a little...

New Formula McKee's 37 Paint Coating, need advice....

I've had it on my car about 3 weeks now. Like the looks of it and it keeps the car much cleaner. But I found it rather difficult to apply TBH.

    Review - McKee's 37 SiO2 Auto Wash

I seem to recall someone (maybe Nick) saying it would not prevent water spots once rinsed. That makes sense because I'm not aware of any product (even a coating) that prevents tap water from spotting once it dries on a car. I've used the product on an unprotected black car in direct sunlight and...

My 2013 Hyundai Sonata (Testing new product - CG - Waterless Wash)

Car looks good. But a third of a gallon for one waterless wash? That's a whole lotta product. Like, a $13 wash. Do you use other WW products? I have a gallon of PB Spray and Wipe that I bet I've gotten 40-50 washes out of. And probably at least that much from one 16 oz. bottle of Wolfgang Uber...

    2018 Q50 RedSport 400 gets the business

Good to know it wasn't just me. It's totally different with how thick it goes on and the spray feature. I applied it in my garage the other day - low humidity but it was only about 58 degrees in there. I just couldn't seem to find a rhythm with it.

    2018 Q50 RedSport 400 gets the business

Car looks great! Any issues with the Mckees paint coating? I just used it (the new version) on my black car and found it very difficult to remove. Like trying to remove maple syrup at times. Turned out great in the end but it was a very slow process with a whole lot of microfibers used in the...

    Question on Mckees tire coating

I would suspect this is the culprit as well.

Why isn't Meg's Ultimate Wax marketed in their Pro lineup ?

I'd guess there's room to move down quite a bit from that $216 figure. If you use Mckees 37 Trademark Poli-Coat Wax as a comparison, it costs $29.99 for a 16 oz bottle here on AGO. Multiplied by 8 that would put it at $240 for a gallon. Yet, Mckees actually sells its gallon version of that...

BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant

That is a trim coating/restorer that still needs a first step cleaner (they recommend the Mckees wax remover for plastic). I'm sure it provides much better protection/restoration properties than the Blackfire AIO but still requires a 2-step process.

    Questions on current sale

There's no way to know. Best case is probably 25% off. People who wait for a better deal are often disappointed. Might get a great deal on one brand or item but nor on others if they do the rotating flash sales.

BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant

The difference is that Blackfire is (was) an All in One product. Meaning it cleaned and protected in one step. There are several good products out there for cleaning or protecting trim, plastic, rubber, etc. But the Blackfire AIO was really versatile and made the process very quick and...

BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant

I would think the Poorboys would be a suitable replacement for engines. Admittedly I haven't tried it but it does have cleaners in it as well so it should work. I've used it on rubber floor mats with great success. But I'm with you the Blackfire AIO was a great product. Definitely my go to for...

    New Carpro Clear Cut compound

I'll be curious to hear more reviews on this. I can't find anything that beats FCC on a Boss Microfiber pad for my black '15 Merc. E350. And I've tried several (FG 400, Sonax Cutmax, 3D 501 Compound and Ultimate Compound). Something that would give total correction on 4-5 passes even with a need...
