What a bummer, someone took a shot at my tailgate with a BB gun. It left a ding and the paint flaked off. The truck is not even a week old.

Wow, Black Denali. I think one can be as good as the other but longevity is the issue. I've followed Consumer Repots recommendations on waxes, tried them and found something not quite right with their suggestions. Turtle wax is decent.

Are you guys pulling my leg? Collinite is a cleaner wax, why would I want to put a cleaner wax on a brand new vehicle. The dealer put a Simoniz Glass coat on it before it left the dealership.

It's a good vedio, the only thing I didn't like is that Quicken, which I had to down load, before clicking "agree", reading the agreement polocy, we give up our rights to privacy. I'm not too happy with Apple about that part.

A few years ago Eagle 1 A to Z all wheel cleaner was a big hit on this forum. I tried it and it works great on the tires and wheel wells. It sells for under $4 at Wally-Mart.

I've used the Mothers Plastic Polish on the head light lenses. It takes a few applications to get the lenses cleaned up but it works. PasticX works better because it's more abbrasive. I use the Mothers Plastic Polish on all the chrome on my Mercury G.M. as well as on the clear coat tire rims...

To remove wax from black trim, I use peanut butter. The oil in the peanut disolves wax. You can use peanut oil but there is a shelf life on that and you don't need very much. Just rub it in with your finger and wipe up the excess with a small towel. You might have to do it a couple of times.
