    Appropriate polishing temp question

I wouldn't polish below freezing. Most garges will stay above freezing if you are in it anyway. During Christmas when Idid a few details, I had to throw a space heater in the garage. worked just fine.

    Plastic trim

You have to be quick with it though. I do not suggest directly applying it to the area. I have not tested this on weather stripping and door trim. I know for a fact that it works on the pebbly trim normally on cowl panels.

How to show off your work properly in photos

I am too stupid and cheap to use photoshop... I've never touched it. My step mom swears by it, but she's a professional photographer. Needs it for fixes blemishes and all that other junk... If you can make a swirled out car look flawless in PS I gotta give it to you.

IPA to remove wax or sealant between polishes

Yes. 91% straight. It's what I use to after claying to make sure all previous waxes/sealants are gone for sure. Works like a charm. I found that the $0.97 spray bottles at Wal Mart that the sprayers fit right onto the 32 oz bottles of IPA. I have a 32oz hose ran through it though. I use that...

    Plastic trim

I have had great success from a suggestion from someone on this site. Use a solvent/adhesive remover (I use 3M general purpose adhesive remover) with a terry clothe. I do a few wipe down of that. It should remove jsut about everything and what id doesn't I pull out a Vinyl eraser. It sheds a...

    Rotary only??? 3M Ultrafina

I would like to believe it has to do with the heat breaking down the polish correctly. Use Menzera P085RD for a DA. Just remember though that a rotary will finish better than a DA if done correctly.

In Need Of a M105 Replacement

M105 will dust if your pad is not primed correctly (problem most of the time). It will also dusts due to ambient temps and humidity levels. try using it with a wool pad on a rotary and try to not get it to dust lol. Lots of skill there.

    LSP list for my customers

.....Nothing will make metallic flake pop more than a PROPER polishing job. Wax is for protection and ease of wash only. Your gloss is made in the polishing not your wax, so to say that one wax looks better than the other, well your wrong. It's all about the job underneath. That goes for ANY paint.

    LSP list for my customers

What about Black Fire Wet Diamond? No need to let it cure for NEARLY that long and it's relatively cheap. If it were up to me and money was no object, I'd offer Swissvax, Supernatural, Souveran, Rubbish Boy's OE, and a few others for the luxery cars. For DD I'd HAVE to have Collinite 845...

Black Car / A bit of overspray and light peel.

I think this owuld be a sound question. Does the body shop you had your work doen at warranty their work? When my car got side swiped, I made sure I took it to a warrantied shop. Hell, I found some wetsanding marks left over from a peice of debris left in the paint. I didn't want to touch it...

    Lesson learned...

Well let it be a lesson to never tell somebody a price or estimate untill you have at least 15-30 minutes to carfeully look over the work... I learned that real quick with a Rubicon Jeep a while back. I had about 1.5" of caked mud in the interior to get out. I was never told about that prior...
