Subscribed. I'm sure it's okay if you tell us the name of the "unknown". I mean you're just doing an objective, non-biased review.

Have you ever been in trouble for detailing?

Doh!  Man, that sucks. I'm always keeping a very close eye on her! You're lucky! Mine enjoys driving a clean, shiny car but doesn't want to give me the time to get it that way!

    Review: Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish

Thanks for the review! :xyxthumbs: Since you followed it up with an AIO anyway, and since you were only doing a basic correction, could't you eliminate the GEP step? The AIO would remove light swirls, polish and protect all in one! And you'd end up with almost the same end result (granted, you...

Have you ever been in trouble for detailing?

Man, I get in trouble all the time for detailing. The wife is jealous of the time it takes me away from her and the kids. I say that they can get involved if they like! (My 3 year old daughter actually does quite a bit.) I do the early morning start too, figuring "oh well, she's asleep...

Sneak Peek: PBMG's new products for SEMA

I agree with you. Don't forget, there's 7 new products in total (not just the 3 Nick listed above), so one of them could well be a wash/shampoo of some sort. :)

Noob and a few stubborn swirls

:iagree: Looks like the compound you used in that area marred the paint a little. A finishing polish like UP or M205 should take care of that. Perhaps even a cleaner-wax, as suggested above.

Removing dealer sticker on rear bumper

Yep, it's safe. You'll just need to wax the area again afterwards, since it will remove any existing wax / sealants. You may also want to polish if the floss leaves any light swirls or scratches.

    2012 Alpine White M3

Well done. Did you do any prep work before the coating? Nice car too...

    Aerospace 303 Protectant

No issues - apart from it may not last too long. *EDIT* not because of the APC, but because of the nature of the product.

Noob and a few stubborn swirls

How many times did you try? They are obviously a little deeper than the rest of the swirls, so might require a few attempts before coming out.

    Meguire's #7; extra coats

Strange, I've had color transfer before. That was on pretty neglected paint using a terry cloth applicator though.
