    Which one first?

Start off with your least aggressive product first to see if that will remove the defects. Ultimate Compound is the most abrasive product out the ones you have listed so that would be my if all else failed product. I am not sure if ScratchX is more or less aggressive than the Ultimate Polish. If...

    Bird Droppings - Autoglym study

LoL, I am not wishing for a bird to visit any of Corey's cars. I was referring to his test hood (I think it's a hood) that he has been using for his extreme tests. Maybe he can set the hood out under a tree that the birds like to hang out in.

colline 845 vs natty red wax?

I have both and I now only use the 845. Better dirt shedding, much better durability and I could not tell any noticeable difference in appearance. Both look great.

    Bird Droppings - Autoglym study

The bird bombs are indeed nasty. Maybe Corey can include a bird bomb test on his Opti Coat/C Quartz test panel to see how much, if any, protection can be had with either coating.

    Best otc carnuba wax?

:iagree: Duragloss #501 or 105 are available at Carquest & some NAPA stores here in the Midwest. Great looks, outstanding durability, very easy to use, inexpensive and won't stain your trim like the Megs Gold Class can. Lots of threads about these products if you want to research them a bit...

Actually they are a decent towel. I did the CD test and there was no scratching with a towel I have used for at least 6 mos. They have held up well after repeated washings. I have Pak Shak towels and DI towels for drying and paint work, I mainly use the Costco towels for wheels, door jambs and...

QUICK drying / curing sealants ??

Opti Seal can be applied over the top of a wax or you can wax with Optimum Car Wax as soon as the Opti Seal has flashed which is only a matter of minutes. That is pretty fast and pretty easy.

    Switching Compounds

Here is a photo of the hood after compounding and before polishing. You can see the scratch running vertically between the 2 lights. it was hard to capture the scratches with the camera and my photography skills are very basic.
