Do the wheels and wells last right out of the same buckets. I'll caution you to not use prime rags. They won't be for long doing that.

    Need some help correcting Civic

If i were you I'd just keep the 915 as my topper and put a sealant on first. Duragloss 111 is like $10. The only reason I have two collinite products is one is a liquid. They smell almost identical. Add something wowa to have for winter if you need a refresh like optiseal

    Need some help correcting Civic

If i were going to attempt a layer it would be M26. Did you wipe it before you waxed with ipa or anything? I reserve ipa wiping for test spots to make sure it's not fooling me that I had correction. Once I get the right process I don't wipe after I'm done polishing with ipa, just microfiber...

    Need some help correcting Civic

915 is their beauty wax right? I don't own it. I own 845 & 885. If anything a sealer then wax would be my choice. Some believe you can't layer wax and some do. Try a panel. I always test the hood when looking at lsp because it sees the most wear by far. If i cant tell a difference I move on...

Chevy Silverado 2500 6.6L Diesel Platinum Detail #2

I tend to look at the forum on tapatalk. If it's got a ton of pics I'm probably not going to let them all load. If I'm on mobile data I will back out really fast.

    Need some help correcting Civic

Part of the problem is silver is almost as bad as white when it comes to depth. Have you washed it yet? If not try that, dry it, gloss enhancing detailer if you have some. See how it looks then. I don't think you can obtain a great deep wet like darker colors. Maybe try a different step...

    Need some help correcting Civic

I think the wet is in the prep personally. I believe it comes from a fine cut polish and very few defects. Did you spray anything on the collinite in the first 24 hours? The first time I did that it was a tad hazy.

    ARG!!!! CAT Scratches!!!!!

I don't run Chem guys polishes so I have no idea. M105 is only as aggressive as the pad it's used with. Put some on a red pad and then try it on a yellow. Big difference. Its always a great idea to start lite but I'm not even sure 105 will fix that one.

    Collinite Questions...

I spread it on the entire car then wipe off. Application by DA. I like the fact it gives it a little more drying time. I'm guilty of wiping too soon if I dont. Now I'm doing this in my garage, not wide open sun. Adjust as needed.

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Hasn't even seen a quick detail in a week. Two rainstorms, outside 24/7 currently. Last Sat it was gone over with HD speed on a white pad. Topped sunday with 845. I had it in the woods yesterday too.

    Hellish streaks follow up

Dip a couple microfibers in you bucket them lay them out flat on the windshield or hood. Let it sit a couple of mins. Rinseless wash as usual. It should help soften the bugs. Option 2. Mix up your rinseless as a detailer in a spray bottle. Spray the bugs directly. Option 3, dedicated bucket...

Need help choosing the best product(s) to protect my new Jeep...

I don't think any of these are going to protect you in a 4x4 environment. If i were living like you I'd cquartz and top with reload after every wash. When the paint starts looking rough find a detailer wherever you are to do a correction.
