    Best Carnauba for the price?

I agree with bob. Its all in the prep. Its rained almost every day since I put a single coat of 845 on three weeks ago. I could drive in the rain on the highway without wipers today. Doesn't mean I can keep my mitts off different products

    Product Waterless Question

If i told you guys what I made up for a waterless you'd probably all choke but it's surprising how well it works. Not sure I'll continue using what I am so I'm not gonna ruffle feathers. Let's just say it's in no way shape or form marketed as a waterless. It is a wash :)

    Micro fiber collection- Getting there

I was just in Sam's club. They have 30 packs of microfiber for like $15. They feel decent, I'll likely buy a pack soon

Good products for chrome bumpers, trim, etc?

I buffed my 17' aluminum boat by hand two years ago using mothers polish. It gets an unbelievable amount of comments to this day and it's a 92. At some point I'm going to do it again using a da with wool. When it's done this time I plan to wax it also, possibly even seal it

Standard Chip Repair vs Dr. Colorchip

At what point do you bite your tongue and say... I'm sorry but I'd have so many hours in chip repair you could have the hood painted. I know chips exist other places, I hunt, my jeep sees a lot of rock roads. Me doing chip work on my ride, if it takes a week so what.

Which ones MUST you avoid application in the sun

You don't need 10-12 pads if you're doing one truck. You can get away with 2-3 easy.

AGO point me to a medium'ish outdoor umbrella for detailing in the sun

Yeah they go fairly high but not ultra high. You could create a system on blocking or upside-down five gallons to get more height.

My 10x10 is no bigger than a person in a front seat. How about a roof rack?

    Which APC to buy?

Simple green lists it's dilution ratios on the bottle. It works decent for price. I've never put it to an extreme test. I use it in wheel wells

    Improving Badly Oxidized(?) Paint?

You could paint that with krylon at this point and it would look better. You've got nothing to lose here. A major chance to learn anything you want. Heck you could paint it in the garage and have amazing results and an experience your boy will have for life. With no body prep needed it's...

    Which APC to buy?

I've never seen a bulk bottle of sonax.

Which ones MUST you avoid application in the sun

You've got your polishing and compound steps reversed. Compound is first and only when needed. I really can't imagine compounding, polish, wax an f150 by hand.

Re: Here's my rig, SHOW me YOURS!(detail rigs only!!) UPDATED INFO! Make sure you find out what dpi the printer expects. Otherwise your home brew wrap will be whack.

    White streaks

You go much more aggressive you'll have a different problem likely. Its almost like it altered the paint color. The only thing more aggressive is wet sanding as I understand the magic eraser to be roughly equal to 3000 grit. Maybe you could bake it out? Heck it's really how far you want to push...
