Anybody ever added a second coat well after the cure time to even out any odd spots? I've got week old Dlux on the front lower spoiler and wondered if it's possible. Just don't want to make it worse than it is.

You have to weave the pad between the strings, under, over, under, etc. Took me a time or two to figure that out myself. I use the lower strings for heavy compounding, the uppers for fine polishing. I can get about five 5.5" pads up the fret board, really cuts down my detailing time.

I'd tend to think the PC could get deeper into the floor boards and smaller vertical panels, but I'd never use any scrubber on the headliner unless it's a hard plastic, and then only after checking an inconspicuous spot for marring. Any type of fabric top and you'll tear the covering cloth...

I think you're correct, but my microfiber towels are static-y as all get out, especially straight out of the dryer. Those fibers are pretty grabby as well. Just wondering aloud if that might work as well.

Thanks a lot. Holy smokes! I just went out to touch the paint after giving it a full 24 hours to cure. It's seriously the slickest paint I've ever felt. If I tried to Duke boys slide across the hood, I'd probably land outside of Hazzard County. Let's find out about longevity.
