    Now thats a great tip!:dblthumb2: I'll be double coating my hood with OC as I'm sure that my factory clear will be really thin after polishing!! Great that I can polish the OC afterwards! :D (in case I need to lightly polish OC down the line, can I lay down another coat?)

    Usually happens when it all separates on long standing. Are you sure you didn't forget to shake it thoroughly to reconstitute the mixture in the bottle?

    So, is it like - -Apply 1st nuba layer, buff off -mist it with ice cold water and apply 2nd thin layer with a damp applicator till it all disappears, mist with ice cold water and buff off -keep repeating the 2nd step over and over!? Is that it? :confused:

    Repainted panels - precautions?

    The repainted areas have more clear than OEM paint, making wetsanding and refinishing on them, easier! OEM paint is really thin and personally I would never wetsand it unless absolutely necessary and then too with a PTG! DA is ok! Do the repainted panels have orange peel? 2-3 months is enough...
