I agree. I use UC by hand on my paint thats soft and although it does correct swirls and looks great/ready for lsp, when in full sunlight (or at night with a cars headlights shining on it), you can see it needs to be refined by a light polish with white pad (AIO, swirlx or other polish product)...

To be fair its possible it streaked on other cars but you couldnt tell as black is easy to pick up things like that vs say a white car. In any event refer to my previous post as I use several optimum products and apply it to my black metallic paint, use water to spread over applied or dried areas.

Streaks can happen if temp on panel is warm, or over applied, or trying to cover a large area and it dries before you wipe. I would recommend using an applicator to spray ocw on and then apply, I use meguiars even coat white mf applicators. Anyway, do not polish, you can use a spray bottle...

I wash every week and final wipe/dry with instant detailer, a quick wipe down of wheels with left over ONR from my wash... Every two weeks clean wheels/tires with apc and reapply dressing since my wheels usually dont get that dirty, partly because I have ceramic brake pads..and the tire dressing...

The best bet is to switch them out, but i dont. Just make sure to not let them sit for many days, the sooner the better to rinse them off by spraying an apc like optimum power clean and/or with something like ONR.

Maybe someone else can chime in on CG products/polishes, i havent used that line. I work by hand so I prefer products geared for that use, I use optimum poli seal which is an all in one (polish and sealant) abd is a must have product in my opinion or meguiars swirlx.
