both do the cutting... as far as foam pads do, you can use a Yellow or an Orange LC pad for compounding. If either of those fail you, then you will need to step up into a wool pad. The Purple Foamed Wool pad is a good one to start out with

XMT 360 does in fact have some bite to it, but not enough to make a big difference on badly damaged paint... and the fillers are minimal. I also like to use PoorBoys Polish w/Sealant. Either of these are my G2 AIO's

an AIO is an AIO... it's not meant to be a true polish for true correction. All will have minor filling capabilities. Poli-seal for example has mineral oil in it... which will fill, you can't work it enough to get rid of it. #151 is some good stuff though... reminds me more of 360.
