After a dbl Dawn and Meguiar's wash (Meg Gold Class) And some frozen beads (Believe I used Griot's Best of show last time)

Since I turn mine upside down (should have installed the nozzle upside down) it's pretty loud, I usually wear ear protection with mine. But turned normally not horrible.

I forgot to mention, one thing I did was lined the end of mine with Mole skin. That way if I do bump it against the vehicle it's less likely to scratch, some fine felt or similar would provide protection also.

I've got the Troy Bilt TB180B from Lowes for about $35 and have been very happy with it.

Yeah, I had a hell of a time. No matter what I did I couldn't get the bolt out. I had to use 24" pipe on my rachet to get the bolt to even break loose and it just fought me all the way out. Could only get it so far out. I decided to heck with it, just take it in.

Getting more snow right now. I'm still hoping to maybe get the car washed tomorrow. Parts of it are actually white right now!:eek: Getting the van back tomorrow from the shop. That one stupid bolt for the tensioner got the best of me.:cry:

Can't speak to the GG DA or polishes, but I've used the Best of Show and agree with the above it's very difficult to remove. However, I do like the results. I've got to check with a buddy on the durability as we used different wax\sealant combos on his car as a test.

I love my Griot's bucket, rolls easily, I can toss the wash mitt on the upper shelf when not using, don't feel like I have to have two buckets to drag around as I wash. Ultimate, maybe not, but I'm perfectly happy with it.

Oh and the belt looks great!
