I use the LC blue sponge. Interesting, I've never noticed a problem squeezing it out or rinsing it. I'm all for trying something else out though for comparison.

I plan on claying, stripping the current sealant with p21s paintwork cleanser, starting with menzerna powerlock and finishing with collinite 915. I'm also investing in waterless washes every time they go on BOGO to keep up the washing off the Iowa winter gunk on a regular basis.

Are you saying that the LC blue sponge causes scratches? I'm using two of these sponges right now to do both my DP wash and gloss and normal washes. Or are you saying you cut up a cheap sponge to resemble the LC blue channel grooves and it didn't work the same? Just wondering, thanks.
